24/7 Burgerhouse — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Ordered on ubereats, order was supposed to arrive between 330 and 350. Called several times between 315 and 350 but no answer. App says the restaurant itself does delivery so tracking wont be possible. You just have to wait until it arrives or call the restaurant for a status update.

After 350, I call again and someone finally picks up at the restaurant and tells me my order was canceled because they don't deliver to my location. I replied that the order still shows in progress so they didn't cancel but they told me to call uber eats to handle.

Most restaurants will put it in their ubereats profile any delivery area restrictions. I would not have ordered or been able to order they had done that. So pretty much this was such a big waste of time and then no time left to even order from elsewhere given the time of night/day..... Rude, racist, misogynist staff, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Right upon ordering, the staff asked where we were from and starting referring to us as Chinese. He then started asking us weird, personal and misogynist questions. He would only look at my boyfriend while talking and asked him “why he chose an Asian girlfriend over a white one, since he was born in Australia” He then went on to say “I understand for her it’s could be still in her culture to be attracted to Asians, but what about you” I felt extremely uncomfortable so we went to wait outside. When the food was ready he handed it to me and said “No boyfriend already paid, girl holds now”. Final blow of misogyny given it’s a joint account.

Overall one of the most jarring interactions I’ve had with someone who is very clearly stuck in their old, non-progressive view of women.

Super Unprofessionell company!!!

Please be really careful with this House! They took over 1,5 hours to deliver and i paid already via Paypal. When the driver arrived he said i shall pay cash cause he cannot see i paid already via Paypal. So they stole my money! They forgot one sauce and brought wrong Drink! The Burger was so bad. No taste and the chicken was kinda old and they also forget the extra topping jalapenos. I quit eating the food immediatelly! I called the house about that they robbed me twice. They said the owner will call me back the same night But they never did if course. After That i tried to call them again But they never picked Up again! Please people do not get ripped of by this company. The reviews here...
