Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Amsterdam

YOU DO NOT WANT TO EAT HERE. Definitely not worth the money! The ambient is very creepy, the people working there are bad vibes. One of the people in the kitchen, the guy in the fryer/grill was drinking a huge sized beer while frying/grilling his stuff. They were stocking bevareges during eating time, which made the experience even worse. By the way they had a full stock and were replacing pretty much nothing. There was another guy cleaning a back room and walking up to the kitchen, like... 0 hygene. People are not nice to you or has zero skill with customers. They seem to work very hard but the food, was not good at all, worse Chinese dish I've ever had, almost threw up, left most food on the plate because I could not finish it, never order the duck dish!!!!! You will feel really bad afterwards. THE WAITER IS NOT FRIENDLY AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU BEFORE YOU EVEN EAT YOUR FOOD. Also they keep looking at the people in a very weird way and laughing out in the kitchen, as if they did something to our food. Disgusting!!!!! This place should be closed and never exist!!!! It's a shame and dishonor to Chinese food!!!!!!!!!! Go to burger king instead is closer and better. I hated my first day in Amsterdam because of this damn place!!!! Felt...

Excellent value for money. Here is the thing about this place: it is a chinese fast food restaurant. They serve food as soon as they can to a lot of people (who normally works nearby and wants to eat quickly). If you want full attention from extra-polite waiters go somewhere else, they are direct and efficient. If you want a neat table to rest for an hour while you eat, same thing, you will be dispatched as fast a possible to make room for other customers. If what you want is incredibly fast service and huge portions of tasty chinese food at low price, this is your place.

Their menu is limited, depending on the time (or the day) they won't serve the whole menu or even beers. All dishes are, as said, huge and they come as fast as it gets. You can also take them to go. Meat is always nicely cooked and all sauces have the typical umami flavor that I miss in some other chinese restaurants in Amsterdam. You can order them with white rice or noodles. Cha siu is one of my favourites. Noodles are, to mention some flaw, a little oily for my taste. But it is the price that makes this place so good. Asian Kitchen is one of the restaurants inside the Amsterdamse Poort area. It is next to the Johan Cruijff ArenA and is easily reachable by bus, metro or NS.

The service is really quick,so you order and it's delivered in less than 5 mins. However,this place is usually always busy during lunch or dinner time and they have a good waiting time. As a result of this, you cannot have lunch in a peaceful way. If you are planning to go out with the team or a group to have relaxing lunch,this is definitely NOT the place.

While you are having the food, you already start getting questions like "Are you done?" by the staff, providing subtle hints that you need to hurry up and eat fast and I don't blame them for it as they have a good waiting line of customers.
