BagelBoy — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Sadly a disappointing experience ): I ordered a cream cheese everything bagel + add-ons: avocado, egg. Pretty simple, right? 3 ingredients beside the bagel. However the two workers seemed more focused on the group that came in after me, and made all 5 of their orders before finishing mine (I ordered before all of them). I made notice of this to the guy making the bagels, before he finished the rest, but still he did nothing to correct the mistake.

Then I saw they also added “American cheese” in the bagel, which can be seen oozing out in the attached picture. I don’t like American cheese, that’s why I didn’t order it… A shame, because the bagel was otherwise good and I would’ve came back if it wasn’t for...

The bagel itself was decent, but unfortunately, everything else fell short. They don’t toast the bagels, which takes away from the texture and flavor. On top of that, the ingredients they use are pretty mediocre—nothing special, and definitely not worth the price. If you’re just looking for a plain bagel, it’s fine, but for a full sandwich, there are much better options in Amsterdam and to be fair I can make better ones at home!

On top of that, they clearly don’t know how to handle busy hours, as the wait time was around 40 minutes. They can’t compare to other places in - id suggest Flo’s or...

Best bagels in Amsterdam, no contest. They don't have a huge menu like bagels and beans but that's because they actually bake everything each morning and then once they sell that days bagels they are done. The everything bagels are amazing, great balance of salt, onion, garlic, and poppy while staying fluffy inside. Seasme are always reliable.
