I have never actually posted a review, but this experience left me baffled and just simply frustrated, so I felt the need to share it.
I ordered via Deliveroo, but when the food got delivered I was left a bit confused. The description of the dish was not what I had received, so I called the restaurant in confusion, positive that they had accidentally mixed up my order, only to be rudely told off, with him arguing with me about what āminced beefā exactly means - and eventually told that this is exactly what I had ordered... āNeua Phad Bai Krapbauwā. (Which by the way, I googled since Iām not Thai, and it resulted in stir-fried minced chicken with basil...)
So I decided there was no point in arguing, and just told him that his description of his dish said āMinced beef with basilā was quite far off from the actual dish that I received, sliced beef with peppers, bamboo, beans and mushrooms; and suggested he might consider changing the description.
This was then followed with him rudely telling me heās never had anyone complain before, and then proceeded to hang up on me.
To put it simply, I was stunned at the lack of understanding and professionalism at my confusion as to what I received vs. what I thought had ordered. I havenāt even tasted the food yet, but purely from my experience with the restaurant, regardless if it tastes good or not, I wonāt be ordering...

We ordered the green curry, yellow curry, and Tom Kha. The curries were really delicious, especially the yellow which has perfect spice and flavor. The green was very spicy, which I like, but overpowered the dish a bit rather than enhancing it. Overall, really good curries.
Tom Kha is our favorite Thai dish. This one was fine, but not great. Could use more lemongrass in our opinion.
All of the dishes were takeout - good packaging...

The experience is made even poorer by the fact that there are no SMSs, emails, calls to let you know they're busy. Then when we have called to chase up, the arrogance on the other end of the phone is astounding. This is not the only Thai restaurant in Amsterdam - or the Jordaan - or even a 500m radius. Try Ko Chang on Westerstraat or any of the others, and...
