Since February, I’ve been a regular at Leauf Amsterdam, after a friend recommended it to me – and with good reason! From my very first visit, it felt like coming home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks especially to the amazing staff. Every team member is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel at ease right away.

When people walk in for the first time, they usually take a moment to look at the menu. It’s not even that big, but everything on it looks so good. That often leaves people unsure of what to choose. Luckily, the staff are always happy to help in a calm, non-pushy way, and you always end up making the right choice. After their meal, you can see happy faces everywhere and hear people saying things like, “That was delicious – I’m definitely coming back!”

As for the food: every sandwich is absolutely delicious. I’ve tried almost the entire menu by now and I’m convinced they simply can’t make a bad one. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care.

We tried the Caesar Baguette, one with bacon and one without, and we were floored. We had high expectations as we’d heard amazing reviews, but we were somehow still even more impressed. The baguette had a nice crunchy shell but wasn’t too hard to eat. The inside was soft and the sandwich still stayed together well. The chicken was phenomenal, and the dressing and egg salad added a perfect moisture. Flavor combo was perfect. The prices were on the higher end for sandwiches we’ve found here, however with the substantial size and deliciousness of the sandwiches we’ve find the price totally worth it. Newly opened sandwich shop. We had the Japonais with salmon tartare and it was delicious. I love sauce and was very happy they added a lot. I was a mess eating with but good food can be eaten messy ;) The baguettes are really great, fresh, crunchy exterior and fluffy interior and they are huge so you can easily split it in 2 and share.
