Bar Kauffmann — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I went to this lovely place on a weekday afternoon just to try it out and I was completely taken by surprise with my experience. First of all, the ambience itself is extremely cozy and the staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. Then comes the most important point - Food ! I had the Sweet Potato fries and my my, I must say that these were some of the best Sweet Potato fries I've ever had. Along with this, of course I tried their Falafels and they were super good too. To accompany the food, I had the delicious spicy tomato juice. Well, let's say I loved every thing I ate/drank. This is definitely a place I will be going back to. This seems like a great place for any time of day and any day (weekday/weekend) and also for different groups of people. Totally recommend this place to anyone who loves to explore new food places...

Came across this cosy Café several times and found it always super crowded, eventually managed to eat and have a beer here and unexpectly found out this is where you can find the best falafel in town! I tried several here in Amsterdam but these falafels are remarkable: crunchy in the outside and of the right softer consistency in the inside. Moreover they confirmed me they are home made, definitely a plus. I also appreciated the selection of beers, with a keen eye on local breweries. We ordered at this place after the good reviews here and on Uber. Unfortunately I have to say that we were left a bit disappointed. The most delicious thing we’re the fried jalapeños which according to be menu were made with cheddar but only had normal crème cheese. Still delicious but not what I expected. A lot of the other items unfortunately had some kind of creamy cheese that we didn’t like very much. The pita with roasted cauliflower was ok but we had the same creamy issue and I was missing some flavor. Overall ok place with great vegetarian options but I wouldn’t order again because...
