There’s a lovely outdoor terrace area here which is a great sot for watching the world go by. The waiting staff spoke good English and were attentive enough to ensure drinks were refilled in a timely manner. It was also nice that they kept wandering around the outdoor area, something which many other places in the city fail to do.

The menu is great for a lunchtime snack or brunch. The croque madam was really tasty and just the right size. The eggs were gorgeously runny which beat expectations and the toasty was equally as impressive.

However the burger was disappointing. A high stack of mediocre quality materials, mainly the burger itself ( 2 patties ) tasted of almost nothing but the gloopy sauce it’s smothered in.

Bacon had the over smoke flavour of industrial bacon.

The bun was dry and over toasted.

On the upside the salad was very good .

Staff friendly and helpful. Beers served nicely.

Staff isn't very professional. We waited endlessly for our order and the young waitress with the curly ponytail was on her phone the entire time....and the response when I arrived with my dog was unwelcoming.to say the least " but we have a cat,!" It wasn't like this a year ago. But I suppose that a change in staff didn't garantee...
