Andre Hazes monument — Attraction in Amsterdam

This statue stands in tribute to Andre Hazes, a Dutch singer of sentimental folk songs. From what I've read, he had quite a successful career than spanned four decades.

The statue is a somewhat unflattering, kitsch sculpture of a overweight man in his middle-age. He is seated on aa stool and belting out one of his famous folk some.

I wouldn't go out of the way to see this unless you have a lot of time...
