Café Square '40-'45 — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I recently visited this cozy little café and had such a lovely experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere feel warm and inviting from the moment I walked in.

The snacks were absolutely delicious – freshly prepared and full of flavor. Whether you’re in the mood for something savory or sweet, there’s definitely something to satisfy your cravings.

But what truly made my visit special was the café’s adorable resident cat, Gigi. She added such a unique and charming touch to the place. Watching her nap in the sun or curiously roam around made the whole experience even more delightful.

Tijdens een weekendje Amsterdam vonden we Café Plein 40-45 vlakbij ons hotel. Vriendelijke bediening en perfect plekje om even een terrasje te pakken zonder de drukte van de binnenstad. Lekker rustig en ongedwongen, met volgens mij veel vaste klanten die in de buurt wonen. Een terrasje om op te kunnen ontspannen.

Er loopt een hele lieve poes rond, genaamd Gigi - en als kattenliefhebbers besloten we een dag later daar weer een terrasje te pakken voor een biertje en borrelhapjes, en om Gigi even een aai te komen geven. De bediening had opgemerkt dat we gek waren op Gigi en haar knuffels kwamen geven, dus kregen we 2 porties mini loempia's van het huis "namens Gigi" ❤️😁 Zo ontzettend lief!
