Avoid at all costs. Me, my partner and our two friends popped in as on the surface this place looked like the atmosphere was fun and the food would be decent. We had to wait for a table which was fine, but we all started getting bad vibes and we now wish we left but we were too hungry and tired to go elsewhere as we'd flown in at 6am that morning and been exploring all day.
We ended up waiting over an hour for the food and when it arrived we were all so disappointed. Not only was it visually unappealing but nothing tasted good and it was totally not worth the crazy price tag. I agree with previous reviews that said it's like they've put supermarket leftovers on the plates - random salad vegetables that didn't go with the meals and seemed like they were bought from the reduced section. Bland and dry. My friends vegetarian meal was a giant mess and looked disgusting. My partner and the other friend got a burrito and they were overcooked and tasteless. I got fajitas and was presented with just two tortillas and a mountain of chicken that was a good temperature but tasteless and swimming in oil. Most of us ended up eating most of our meals as we were so hungry at that point we felt we had no option. Staff must have picked up on the fact we were restless for ages as we got asked if the food was ok (while others weren't asked). My partner was honest with the worker (not sure what his position was in the restaurant). At first he was defensive and rude and was totally unhelpful and after a bit of a heated argument he settled on us not paying for one of our meals to make up for it. He did seem genuinely remorseful in the end and told us not to say anything, but I think it's important for people to know what this place is like to make a proper informed decision and not end up in the same position we ended up in. My friend had to go outside due to the anxiety of the situation, and I was shaking.
The apparent owner who was walking about checking on everything didn't do anything to help or de-escalate the scenario. The guy who dealt with us also was drinking tequila on shift which I think is highly inappropriate and this maybe impacted on how rude he was to us in the beginning (he swore at us too). He tried to insinuate that we should be grateful for the food given he managed to get us a table despite it being busy, and in the beginning couldn't take the criticism despite us being very polite about it and trying to give feedback that would help the restaurant. He was also very handsy and placed his hand on me and my other female friend when we first got in which was completely unnecessary, and had his hands all over my partner's shoulders when they were trying to talk about the food. It made us super uncomfortable and there is no need for staff to touch their customers ever. He also knocked over a drink onto a customer on the next table over when he came to talk to us that could have also been attributed to him drinking.
Aside from the food and long wait, the place seemed grubby and unclean. I will say that the waitresses were perfectly friendly and helpful though and we were sad to not be able to thank them...
Read moreRUN from this place!!! The single worst restaurant experience of my life!! We have two kids and asked the server if they have a kids menu. She said they don’t but that people usually get a quesadilla. So we said that’s fine. The quesadilla came with jalapeños and the woman told us to pick them off which we tried. My toddler still cried eating it so we asked for a quesadilla without jalapeños. This is when all hell broke loose. The same woman that told us to pick the jalapeños off kept coming up to us and telling us to read the menu better and we should be charged. She wouldn’t stop or let it go!! Over a quesadilla they told us to order for our small children!! My husband said “this is dumb” and they kept saying he called the server dumb. He was just perplexed that they didn’t just give us a 50 cent cheese quesadilla for our kids without all the verbal assault! When we got aggressive back they couldn’t handle it and started insulting us and telling us we were disrespectful. Their behavior deserves this review. Don’t suggest jalapeño quesadillas for kids and then insult your customers! Get rid of that server that couldn’t let it go. What a nightmare to have for any business! I’m alerting every single person I know to never come to...
Read moreIt was okay, came with a friend because she came here last time and said it was amazing! But was disappointed. We work in hospitality so we were open minded but one staff worker( lady ) was quite rude and bit agressive towards my friend when we said her classic margarita was too sweet. The staff kept made us feel bad for being honest that we weren’t comfortable with the drinks we received. The staff member kept saying if it’s sweet then it’s not like the margarita is not made properly. We were stunned because margarita is not meant to be very sweet and we are aware how it should be tasted. Then she offered another drink again..too sweet. We only drunk one cocktail each because it wasn’t enjoyable to drink at once. Tacos were okay, kind of dry and bland salsas. The tortilla chips and guacamole we only ate a few chips. Just no love in the food that’s all. And quite loud, the staff kept throwing the cutlery super loud and rough. Only good thing was another staff to offer us tequila shots at the end which made the experience not all terrible. I hope you guys can take this...
