Coco's Outback — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I loved this place, Especially the wings, I always came back for the wings, we were seated by a cool waiter chick, took our order. Eventually flagged down another waiter chick who was very aggressive almost forcing me to close my table so she can open a new tab, mid way through dinner. I told her no it’s okay we have a waiter we’ll just tell her, very aggressively responded with they don’t keep open tables, and I just told her you’re very aggressive towards me, please just get our waiter, our waiter comes, we gave her our order and she brought it no problems, enjoyed our food and 5 min later the assistant manager arrives, demanding payment and asking why were we rude to his waiter. We just clarified with him what happened and he refused further service from this establishment. We own a restaurant and I will never make anyone ever feel like that, ever in my life, that is horrible and I will be so disgusted in my employees if they ever made anyone feel like that, this person should not be in service delivery or he should go for proper training on how to decently treat people, I refused to be treated like this by his waiter and I refused to be treated like this by him, I literally just spat my food out and completely lost my appetite and just wanted to get out of there, horrendous, and the response is all the same. These people working for the owner are gonna cause him to lose a lot of business, from one owner to the next. Get your people in Line or you’ll definitely feel the consequences. A cool pub to watch sports. The working crew were also nice. However, apparently the pub is really horrible at vetting their security people. We went 3-4 hours early today to watch Euro 2024 final and got a small table for us to have a view of a big TV etc. One member of the party was going to join later in the middle of the game. However, when she arrived, the security did not let her in and told her there is no space, even as she told we have kept a space for her at our table. Eventually one of us went to explain that we have kept her space to the security gentlemen, instead the moment he mentioned it, without any discussions the security physically grabbed him and kicked him out of the pub area, out of nowhere! Living in Amsterdam and being a frequent visitor to this pub this treatment was a big shock to my friend and instead of calling the police officer passing nearby for being subjected to physical violence, all he did was calling me to not forget his backpack. The whole party had to leave mid-game to join the two friends who were stuck outside, which is obviously not ideal when you’re watching a final. Fortunately I recorded the faces of the two rude, violent and ready-to-get physical security gentlemen, which is in the attached 3-seconds video. UPDATE: Even more disappointed with the review response. No actionable items, no apologizing. I don't even think he read this review before answering a generic bad review answer. Really poor.

We were first greeted and seated by a great waitress. She took our order politely (sparking water and chicken wings) and friendly. While eating food we wanted additional sparkling waters. So we asked a different waiter. She was extremely rude so we asked for our original waitress back.

Instead we got a manager. He wasn't interested in hearing our side of the story. He was just there to defend his second waitress. In fact, he was just as rude as she was.

We were then refused any further service. Threatened that if we came back no waiters, not even the one we liked and who was friendly.

We wanted to leave immediately but they didn't have take away containers. Instead we just got foil.

To refuse a customer service is disgusting!

We weren't rude, or violent, or raised our voice. In fact, our original waitress apologized so many times as we were leaving because she knew how badly we were treated. What a waste of 69 euros....
