Steakhouse Grill Tango — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The most perfect stake I've ever had! Sirloin steak had just the right way grilled surface and was perfect rose from the inside. Steak was extremely juicy and tender, and those few drops off steak fluid, that leaked to the plate, was almost clear and no bloody at all. Usually medium steaks are undercooked and fluid is disgustingly bloody, but not in this restaurant. Also fries and sauce were exellent.

And on top of that, we were running late, it was almost 23.00 already when we did notice this restaurant, but service was still perfect, behavior of staff didn't reflect anyway that place should be closed already. Those over 200g sirloin steaks with fries, salad and self-selected sauces were 15.90€/portion!

So extremely good food with very low price. Defenetly worth...

Excellent food, if overpriced. The service was friendly enough, but inconsistent. My party of 4 were the only customers at that time, and it took over 30 minutes for the first dish to come out. Then an additional 20 for the rest. Management and servers seemed unprepared for customers and apparently needed to start the stoves as they were cold when we ordered. Ordinarily the atmosphere would overcome the lax service and preparation for me, but the fact that it's customary to charge for every little thing in this country (not a criticism, just a fact) this was a gross misuse of our time. By the time our food got to us our cups were dry and I was not interested in paying the additional fee due to management and service being so badly prepared and...

We have found this place via social deals, which we have used many times on great places, though our experience was terrible. Firstly the menu on social deals seems to be wrong especially the additional costs depending on what dish you choose and they just blame it on social deals being wrong rather than just fixing it. Secondly being sat at a small table next to the smelly kitchen as well as next to the only tight hallway where the waiter crosses many times at an empty restaurant sucks, even though we have asked to be sat somewhere else. the last drop to my anger was the additional cost to mayo, not even.. frietsaus at a restaurant! So it was either dealing with the blandest fries ever or paying. Definitely not...
