Meant to write this review a while back. So my wife and I came in here for our first time in 3 years. We would always come here in the previous years before when we would visit Amsterdam. We have always loved their craft beers and food! However on this occasion we had our most amazing experience yet, all thanks to Irina. If I remember correctly, it was her first night as manager and she was doing an absolutely beautiful job of helping guests (especially me, I hated the fact you had to order and pay using a tablet everytime you wanted another beer or anything, you had to pay again) I honestly was ready to give up and leave (I already use computers all day at work, last thing I want to do is have to navigate another electronic device while I'm trying to relax) anyways, all that being said, Irina came to the rescue and she helped us place our orders and made us feel super welcomed and comfortable for the rest of the evening. We also had the pleasure of meeting her Boyfriend, Federico. He was an amazing guy from Italy whose warm energy and positivity was easy to feel and see. The owner's are very fortunate to have people like this on their team. We appreciate their efforts and hospitality and will definitely be back again someday. I wish the best for this couple and their journey...
Read moreWe found this place because it was close to our hotel and we ended up going there every day. It is a brewery built in a former monastery inside a bunker. The atmosphere was amazing, with a big Christmas tree inside and nice Christmas lights outside in the garden. The staff was very nice and they knew what they were doing. For dinner we tried burger and bruschetta and they were amazing! They make a good cappuccino (also with oatmilk as an alternative), and they have fresh croissants in the morning and brownies. There are not many drink alternatives to beer (as you would expect in a brewery), but they have very good fresh orange juice. Only thing that could be improved is the floor could be cleaned more often as in the week we have gone there we always sat in the same spot and the carpet had not been cleaned once (same lost earring seen in the same spot for days together with other rubbish). Also the opening times during the Christmas holidays were different and this was not specified anywhere, lucky thing it was so close that we could pop in to see if it was...
Read moreWe stayed at Level hotel and didnât want to go to the city center. We were 15 minutes early because it opens at 12. We could take a seat while the man was preparing things. It has a beachy vibe, very relaxing and nice place with canvas tents and plants to create a certain atmosphere. We got to talk to the Italian manager and he was open and nice to talk to. HĂ© was interested in us by asking if we liked the concert. HĂ© explained me, a noob, what a flat white is and offered to make me an ice coffee which was nice. You could dit in the sun or shadow because of the tents. My daughter prefered the shade. We orderred an ice coffee, home made Ice tea, still water and 2 cheese toast and tomato soup which tasted as fresh made soup. The chef was from Hungary and came to appologies that she had to make the toast on ciabata Bread but that this is done in Hungary and it is called a princess. Donât know if this was true, but we felt like Queens âșïž Total 31 euroâs Next time I bring my Son to Enjoy the place, food and people...
