Espressobar Puccini — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Tasty food - but a very VERY limited Italian cuisine. Small bites - that’s it. There is very little room in the place - quite stressful and intimate. If you do not speak Dutch - the staff will probably not understand you; or; really really confuse you / stress you out with confusing grammar etc etc. Like everywhere in the Netherlands - the staff / people here in the shops get VERY rude and arrogant with English speaking people. Disrespectful, considering how much they charge (very very overpriced food for what it is)

I just wanted a simple Italian risotto or pasta and they did not have real Italian food. Just ‘tourist’ Italian food. Find somewhere quiet and independent away from main streets if you want genuine authentic Italian in...

Amazing place! I was in Amsterdam for 3 days and been wanting to visit this place but was only able to make it on my last day. I am not sure her name but she's blonde and tall (doesn't narrow it down I know!) and she was very friendly, helpful, great customer service and a lovely cute smile!

I very much enjoyed the coffee and the food but the service was outstanding. I wanted to try and find Pepernoten (which in january is difficult) and they tried to give me suggestions, googled it on their phone etc.

I highly recommend this place. I had the roast beef sandwich and a cappucino. Decent price of 11.50 euros (give or take) considering everywhere in Amsterdam is about 15 euro plus. Big portion as well.

Breakfast - lunch - afternoon break for tea, coffee, dessert, the people who work here - EVERYTHING is perfect. My husband and I are especially fond of the vegetarian sandwich on brown bread. Grilled vegetables, marinated tomatoes, homemade pesto and the bread is delicious, too. One homemade soup each day, always tasty, healthy and filling. Housemade apple pie - currently weekends only. Chocolate cake from Pompadour bakery. More choices available. I'm also a fan of their scones. Sit inside or out, facing the canal. We have come dozens of times and hope for many...
