Extremely rude man, who seems to be the owner. A customer ask his son/nephew for a napkin. He gave him one. The man asked for another one for his girlfriend. The owner started to interrupt and shouted I already gave you one. He said yes, but I am asking another for my gf. The man shouted again that he already has a napkin. The customer answered: “what’s the problem I am just asking for a napkin?” The man asked if he had already paid. The customer answered that he did. The owner said something else rude. I thought it was ridiculously rude and stood up for the costumer. I said to the owner, sir I don’t think you should treat your customers like this. He shouted to me that he was not talking to me and that I should mind my own business. The customer walked back to his girlfriend and thanked me for standing up for him. When a few bother people walked into the snackbar, the owner started to shout to the same customer, who asked for a napkin: “Are you finished, because I don’t have space for you in my snackbar?!” The guy said to his gf that he didn’t want to stay for any second longer at that place, he thanked me again and left. My friend, with who I was, brought the plate back to the man and thanked him (I don’t understand why she did this, but whatever). The man thanked her too and than looked at me and shouted 5 times through the whole bar: “and no thank you to you, and no thank you to you!” I told him that he was rude and that he shouldn’t tread his costumers like this. I also warned him that I would write a bad review about his snackbar. Well here you sir. I think you should reflect on your poor behaviour, because if you keep on treating your customers as if they are garbage, they won’t come anymore and you will have to close your snackbar! The vegetarian croquettes were made out of a vegetable ragout instead out of oyster mushroom, how they are normally made. Our 3 kids including my friend and I didn’t like the taste of it. The quality was poor...
Read moreIt’s a big city late night snack bar - meaning it’s crowded, run down, and the service is efficient to the point of ruthless. If that’s not what you want, don’t go! If that is what you want, it will absolutely hit the spot. Great shoarma but the star was the Kapsalon which is late night nirvana - meat, salad, melted cheese, over fries. At midnight it was full to bursting with tourists like us and also Dutch locals soaking up some of the excess beer they had consumed while watching Netherlands win the Euros...
Read moreExtremely rude worker. What seemed to be the owner approached us after my friend literally just finished his fries (WHILE WE ARE STILL SITTING AND THE TABLE AND OBVIOUSLY STILL STAYING) and said “in your home country you don’t throw finished food in the trash or what? Where are you from?” Seriously? Extremely racist and extremely unfriendly. Apparently tourists are not...
