I recently visited Graham’s Kitchen after making a reservation through The Fork, enticed by their special prices aimed at attracting new customers. However, my experience quickly turned sour as I discovered that the restaurant not only failed to honor the advertised prices but also showed a complete disregard for resolving the issue in a satisfactory manner.
Upon arrival, I was excited to indulge in their menu, having been enticed by the enticing discounts displayed on The Fork. However, when the bill arrived, I was shocked to see that I had been charged the full price, which was exorbitantly higher than what was initially advertised. Naturally, I approached the staff to address the discrepancy, hoping for a reasonable explanation or a solution.
To my dismay, the restaurant staff not only denied any fault on their part but also refused to acknowledge that they had misled customers with their deceptive pricing with the Fork. They insisted that I pay the inflated amount, displaying a blatant lack of customer care and a complete disregard for the integrity of their advertised offers. Their dismissive attitude left me feeling cheated and disrespected as a customer who had placed trust in their establishment.
What disappoints me even more is their unwillingness to rectify the situation or take responsibility for their actions. They showed no interest in resolving the issue or preventing future customers from falling victim to the same misleading pricing strategy. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and does not foster a positive dining experience.
As a consumer, I believe it is essential to share my experience to warn others about the restaurant's unscrupulous practices and indifferent customer service. I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious when dealing with Graham’s Kitchen, as their advertised discounts may turn out to be nothing more than an illusion, and any attempts to seek a fair resolution will likely be met with resistance.
In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed by the misleading pricing and the unsatisfactory customer service experience at Graham’s Kitchen. I would caution others to think twice before dining here and urge the restaurant management to take responsibility for their actions and prioritize the satisfaction and trust of...
Read moreWe were extremely lucky to get seated as we didn't have a reservation. We sat outside at one of the tables for two. It was a nice evening so we weren't cold, but Graham offered us blankets and space heaters if we needed them. We were immediately and warmly welcomed by Graham himself upon arriving. We selected the 4-course option, but Graham suggested that we split two of the courses so that we could sample more of the menu, which was fantastic because we were having difficulty deciding which item to do without. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. We enjoyed watching the local residents going about their evening. The food was excellent. The portions sizes and pacing were perfect. We left feeling satisfied but not bloated and we probably spent a little over two hours. Graham has a wonderful sense for creating complex flavors that are not too heavy. The amount of variety was delightful. We particularly liked the cured sous-vide salmon which was rich and flaky and simultaneously incredibly moist, with crunchy crusty bits on the top. Also the waffle with craime fraiche and herring roe felt rich and decadent. This is the kind of place I'd like to visit several times a year each time the menu changes to see what new inventions Graham has concocted. Highly...
Read moreWhat a beautiful setting for an amazing dining experience. The place lacks the stuffiness so often deterring from a truly enjoyable meal. From being greeted by the chef and owner itself, over the amazing tasting menu choices for both meat/fish lovers and vegetarians, to the wonderful service and inspired wine pairings, we had a birthday dinner to remember with joy and happiness. To be brought each dish by Graham with mouth watering explanations of how each dish was crafted heightened the anticipation and enhanced the experience. And the dishes did not disappoint. And each glass of wine was brought by the sommelier with an opportunity to taste first. All of the wines from appetizer over the main to dessert were so thoughtfully paired that each bite was enriched and even more enjoyable. Loved the cozy ambience and the colorful mural. We were so well taken care of in an unobtrusive and caring way, we will definitely be back. The tasting menus will change, but we had four out of the six options and they were all wonderful, fresh, inventive and a joy to eat. My husbands favorite was the skatewing and mine the tofu tempura with lovely citrus notes, a great crunch and a bed of kohlrabi prepped almost like a mix between pasta and...
