The first time I ordered from this place (through Deliveroo), I was surprised by the food quality. In a good way! So far, it's the most authentic north indian restaurant I've tried in Amsterdam (I'm Goan, grew up in Goa, India so I know what I'm talking about).

The second time I ordered (also through Deliveroo), there was unfortunately a thunder storm brewing in the city and so there was a lack of Deliveroo drivers out on the roads. Very understandable, better safe than sorry. But an hour later, I got the notification that the order was finally on the way!

The food was almost immediately at my doorstep and... still fresh and warm! The driver told me he had to wait about 5 minutes while they reheated the food. Not only was it warm, it was also just as delicious as the first time I ordered from them.

This used to be a really great place to eat, but it has consistently gone down over the last years - maybe too many users. Whatever today was the very last time! The food was far too salty, everything a bit samey. The spicy wings were still OK but, over cooked with black, burnt bits. We asked for the dhal makhani to be madras hot - it wasn't. They no longer use fresh Okra for the bindi bhaji and though you get more it's not better, It used to be very simple onion, tomato and okra now it's an unappealing goo. Naan and rice good, lamb in lam sag perfectly cooked but again and...

This used to be my favourite takeaway in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, something must have changed there because the recent orders did not taste the same, as they were lacking spices and flavour. Even the rice was done differently. Portions got reduced. On top of this, lamb did not seem fresh. And very long waiting time with no information about the delay. I was hoping this was one off event, but I have ordered again and it was even worse… Very disappointing as the food there used to be really amazing… now I will be looking for a new...
