Juicebrothers De Pijp - Van Woustraat — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I would stay away from this place. They make their juices three times a week (!), let them stand in an open refrigerator for days in a plastic bottle and promote it as FRESH. The plastic degrades into the juice, the enzymes and minerals die within 24 hours and basically you’re drinking something that is starting to ferment. I’ve asked the guy at the bar why do they say it’s fresh and he argued that it’s fresh even though I’ve pointed out the improbability of something like that considering all I’ve mentioned above. A juice needs to be made on the spot to have the nerve of asking 8.5 e for it. Yes. You’re asking 8.5 euros for it. Ridiculous. You’re taking advantage of people’s lack of knowledge and impatience by promoting such a terrible product.

I dont know whats going on today but I have waited 20min for a smoothie… I still have not received it so I thought I have some time to write a review.

I thought Im gonna get my stuff quickly from here as I usually do, but now im just late because of a smoothie. Its not even busy…

I finally received my smoothie after 25min of waiting, no apologies or anything :)

At least in future, it would be nice if the staff warned if it takes so long to make a product.

I went to but the same smoothie on different day from a different worker, i waited less than 5 minutes even though it was...

Hey folks, I'm a LVL 7 expert and visited this place recently so dropping a few warranted truth bombs:

Firstly this juice is expensive af. Even for pre bottled juice it's like 8 euro for a few little gulps. The freshly made stuff is also a rip-off and takes an unusual amount of time to make (15+ mins at 8:30am on a Wednesday, not many people in the shop). The two girlies working there were bemused and didn't really care about great juice it seemed.

All this being said, you can see the price before you buy any of this garbage so "buyer beware" as the phrase goes. My expert opinion: juicebrothers has really cool decor, but try the juice at Albert Hein (check out my Albert Hein expert review, like...
