Julia's — Restaurant in Amsterdam

tl;dr: STAFF Lovely Jamie, Helpful Roos and Hero Vera The food was Very DELIGHTFULL The quality/price ratio was GOOD The service was Excellent~!

Impression: Julia's in Sloterdijk Station was very close to Smullers, so I first had a difficult time deciding to go for Italian and fries. But in the end I chose Julia's because i haven't tried it yet. The front door seemed very vacant, not or it didn't look too inviting , but nevertheless I still went inside.

The interior was very nice, standing in front of the store u can't see that there's actually more places to sit down and eat your desired meal. The kitchen is open, so u will see what ingredients they will put in the pan~!

Product: They sell all kinds of Macaroni's to choose from, after that u can choose the size of the bucket and the desired sauce. Since it was my first time I have let the lovely Jamie decide! and she was a bit confused and chose ravioli but then Vera came to the rescue! and she straight up picked dem ingredients like she knew me for years.

Eventually i ate the masterpiece and it was VERY DELIGHTFUL indeed. I didn't know about Julia's but now im bound to choose this faster than fast food french fries.

Service: Their service was EXCELLENT~! They helped me alot I asked Jamie and Vera for a charger since i was a long way from home helping friends from London tour guide trough Amsterdam. I needed to wait for them at Station Central. In the mean time Jamie with a lovely smile lend her charger to me ( Android Apple :P ) and i could charge my phone and eat my meal in peace. After my meal I asked them if the knew a spot after 17:00 on a sunday for tourist to go! Helpfull Roos helped me first and came up with a few ideas then Lovely Jamie made a few suggestions. But then Hero Vera came to the rescue again and suggested A'DAM Tower! This weird costumer couldn't be more happy with this dedicated, well matched team that helped me plan the evening!

Hygiene: It looked pretty clean~! I don't know if there is a restroom or anything since I didn't ask for it. So i can't say anything about this point.

Price: The price/quality was GOOD ~! I ate a small box for my self. And i was pretty full after one. It was also very tasty, and you could also add some extra toppings to match your desired taste! :D

Overall: Although it didn't look to inviting I am glad i still stepped inside of Julia's, The food was VERY DELIGHTFULL. The talk with the staff was EXCELLENT! I needed to wait a long time before my friends came back from Amsterdam Central. So it really helped that they were this nice to me! The quality/price ratio was GOOD ! If i lived in Sloterdijk I would most definitly eat there more often! Point of improvement infront of the store seems so vacant, maybe put some more inviting banners infront. Other than that i think I think this place deserves a whopping 5 out of 5 stars~!!!

I was traveling with my old parents from Paris. Reached sloterdijk station early morning and my father was a bit sick. He needed to eat something and we were at Julia's at 7:30am (26/11/17). While me and mom were still finishing our small breakfast, my dad closed his eyes (not lying on the table, not lying anywhere, just closed his eyes while sitting). The lady at the counter was rude enough to say loudly & rudely "could you not sleep here", which made everyone turn towards us. Had a coach stop in Amsterdam, wanted something easy to eat before the next coach and to my surprise there’s a lovely pasta bar in the station. I’ve got a carbonara with farfalle pasta and I must say, it was delightful. The pasta was perfectly cooked - al dente and the sauce was nice and creamy. Very decent portion size and it was such a quick service! I think I waited under 10 mins. Also saw someone ordered penne pesto pasta with pulled chicken and they looked very happy with it.
