Horrible choice! - I would give you 0 stars if I could.

I picked this place for my 40th birthday, which was on 12/21.

We walked in and were seated by the door (on a cold day). Which I didn't complain about because we had walked in without a reservation. None the less, I didn't expect to be treated like we were or I would have taken my money and birthday elsewhere!

We were seated by the host next to a large table of about 10-15 people. The waitress of that table passed by our table several times without so much as a single greeting or acknowledgment. After 15 minutes I asked the host who our waitress was. She pointed to the same girl that just ignored us. We has to ask for menus, water, bread (several times). At one point after our first round of drinks, my husband had to go to the bar to order them! Our meals came and she never asked how the food was, if we wanted more drinks, if we wanted dessert..etc. She was the absolute worst waitress I've ever had!

I finally decided that I wouldn't give them one more dime and asked for the check without ordering dessert or more drinks (which we wanted to). When she brought the check back, I asked her if she was supposed to be our waitress which she replied "Yes" with a SMILE. I almost burst out laughing. I told her that she was the worse waitress that I ever had and that her service was awful.

I've never had such a bad experience. It was definitely a damper on such a special occasion. I would never recommend this...

We came here at 4pm, since waiters didn't acknowledge us for 20 minutes we have asked one of them to take our orders. After 25 minutes or so our starters came in, no cutlery, whatsoever. Took us another 30 minutes to get a waiter to clean out plates. After 50 minutes into "dining experience" a waiter came in to tell us the kitchen is extremely busy and overwhelmed (roughly 75% of available tables were taken) and our "food is on the way". After 45 minutes we've decided to ask about the food, so I went to the waiter just to learn the order was never made. I have worked and dined in restaurants all over the world. We where overwhelmed when all 200 covers were taken and we had to put more tables. Ridiculous experience, would never go back to this place. Asked for a bill for drinks, starters and "experience" we had so far and the staff didn't even offer apologies, discount, a free drink, nothing. Appalling to anyone with at least minimal sense of good...

We visited twice during our trip. The location and setting is what saves this place. The service is abysmal. Our first visit we had to ask 3 times for the outside heater to be turned on, when it finally was turned on, it lasted all of 5 mins before going off. An item was missing off our order when the food came, the waitress then proceeded to argue that we hadn’t ordered the said item. Our second visit on April 25th in the evening. The bar wasn’t particularly busy in comparison to others in the area. We waited 20mins for 2 beers, we could see them sat on the bar. When the short blonde waitress eventually brought them over she dropped one of the drinks. Which was not the issue as accidents happen. What was the issue was waiting a further 10 mins for the drink, which was sat on the bar while she stood next to the bar on her phone. Eventually my partner went to the bar himself. Absolutely...
