Good restaurant but sadly below expectations. Seeing all the amazing reviews about this restaurant I really thought I had found a hidden gem, but it was just a good restaurant.
Some of the dishes like the scaloppina, salmon, caprese & lasagna were great while the carbonara & calamari were okay, I do have to say the prices were very fair for Amsterdam, probably below average.
The service left much to be desired, it was slow and disorganised, with the waitress barely knowing anything about what she was serving, making her have to go to the back to ask the owner. I wouldn't be surprised if she was still in training.

Read moreThis is a small family owned business that takes amazing care and attention to their customers. This restaurant will beat any italian restaurant downtown. While this may not be the place for a formal date, it really could be if you plan it to be more laid back, which matches the relaxed Amsterdam vibes.
I ordered the Al Salmone pasta, it was very well done and fresh. I have tried this dish at plenty of Italian establishments and not many have been able to ace it! Each restaurant has their own take on this dish, this time the sauce a white cream based sauce which compliments well the zucchini, greens, and Salmon. I highly recommend this place to anyone trying lay back and relax, while enjoying hearty food prepared with the warm atmosphere and love of food that this restaurant provides. I added the new menu to this review, so everyone can see the...

I also had something for desert but dont remember the name it was very nice too. The prices were spot on. The restaurant is very small and hidden away from the main roads. we booked a table, but i feel like we didn't have to. If I come back to Amsterdam this would be on my list. We are...
