Very busy so had to wait at the bar for a table (not an issues at all) table came free after about 25 mins so we went. Music was very loud due to it being the same volume across the restaurant which was louder in some places and quiter in others. Took a while for someone to come take our order and once taken waited an hour for it to arrive. Once it did most was cold. Despite the humongus pizza size we found it lacking in toppings. My Gnocchi was bland but perfectly cooked. My mum complained to a waitress (which took a while for her to find!) about her cold pizza and the lady put it back in the oven. At this point my dad and I were finished. When bringing the pizza back she also brought seemingly every condiment in the restaurant. All in all dissappinting food after waiting a while but not too upset as they accidentaly gave us a free round of drinks and we all managed to learn some Italian in the loos 👍

I loved it as a whole. The food is good not wonderful but really good Italian with a fair price and the super nice location they got.... They're just next to a nice portion of swimming water, green. The restaurant has plenty of space and the parents got a nice terrace with playground so the whole family get to enjoy. Clean toilet, so me and my kid enjoyed a nice soft Italian music 🎵🎶 while peeing. Almost don't get my kid out of the toilet 😂..but it was a nice toilet experience? I guess.. Staff is super nice and kind. I appreciate they serve a pretty decent olive oil and balsamic. I saw a lot of Italians eating there. I have no idea if it was just coincidence or if it's a thing. I will be coming back often. Summer spot to go eating with kids in Amsterdam. And my son loves pizza, ❤️Tip: ask the kid's pizza options 🤌 they're not in the menu

The pizza crust is very good. It's thin but not so soft that it immediately folds, and it has the right taste as well. The reason I've given 3 stars is because of the nduja salami which was, first of all, not spicy at all, and second not spread in a good way. Most parts were without any salami and some had a little. So it was quite bland, and that for an 18 euro pizza. The size seems big, but it's really thin and I could easily finish two, and I'm not a big eater. So I don't mind the price, but the quality should be on par. Then as for service, I told the waiter about this, but communication was difficult, because the waiter could only speak English, and not that well, but also when I asked for something to compensate the taste for, such as a pepper, and I explicitly said not spicy oil, it took a very long time and he still came with oil.

First of all my compliments that the staff actually knows the food and has their own personal favourites. This might sound a bit strange, but it's nice when you ask a waiter for a recommendation and they actually can describe why they like a certain dish. I was in doubt about the gnocchi or a pizza, but after the description on the potato-based gnocchi's taste I realised that was not what I was in the mood for.

The pizza was HUGE! This place is known for the big sizes but even so, I was taken quite by surprise. Because of the thin crust though, it doesn't necessarily have to be overwhelming for your stomach and we even all had still space for desert which was an amazingly light and taste panna cotta. The only down side on the pizza: it's bigger than the plate and while that looks fun when it arrives and is set in front of you, it's a bit difficult to cut without slicing yourself in a finger or possibly your leg. I understand plates the same size as your pizza's are hard to come by and maybe I'm just a tad clumsy but I'd even prefer just a wooden plank as a plate if that would fit my dish. Also, the time management in between dishes was a bit lacking. Waiting for food is perfectly fine, I understand it's busy and therefore cooking takes a bit longer, but it becomes a bit annoying when two people are already served and the rest still has to wait almost 15 minutes. But it can happen and in the end we all got our dishes which were really tasty. I will definitely come back to L'Osteria in the future, for their pizza's-that-are-bigger-than-my-head for very reasonable prices. And please keep that panna cotta on the menu, it was...

This evening we had the unfortunate experience of dining at your restaurant and I must say it was nothing short of disappointing. From start to finish, the entire dining ordeal was filled with frustration and dissatisfaction.

We waited an unreasonably long time for our food to arrive, and the staff seemed indifferent to the fact that we were growing increasingly impatient. The worst part was that during this extended waiting period, not once did a server bother to check if we wanted another drink or even offer an apology for the delay. It was as if our presence in the restaurant was inconsequential to them.

When the food finally did arrive, it was a huge letdown. The dishes we ordered were subpar and far below the standard I had come to expect from this restaurant chain. I had previously dined at their establishments in Germany and The Hague, and the stark difference in quality was shocking. The flavors were bland, the presentation lacked finesse, and the overall execution of the dishes felt rushed and careless. It was a far cry from the culinary experience I had anticipated.

To make matters worse, when we raised our concerns to the staff, they were dismissive and unapologetic. It seemed as if customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.

Given the slow service, disappointing food quality, and lackluster customer service, I cannot recommend dining at your restaurant. Save yourself the frustration and seek out other dining options that prioritize their customers and deliver on the promises they make. It's a shame that a restaurant that thrived in other locations couldn't maintain the same standards in this...

I ordered 1 pizza fungi and 1 gnocchi gamberetti at L’Osteria Amsterdam by Uber Eats. I got 2 pizzas delivered, one pizza funghi and one pizza gamberetti. We said to the delivery guy that this wasn’t our order and he said he couldn’t do anything about it. I still wanted my gnocchi but there is no possibility to re-order something, so I got a refund from Uber. I called the restaurant and they said it was Uber eats its fault, so they couldn’t do anything. Then I ordered the gnocchi again first trying by phone but they don’t accept phone orders. Then via Uber eats and selected pick up because it is right outside our house. After 40 minutes we went to the restaurant because it said that our order was ready. We got to the restaurant and they didn’t even start with my order. Then I also saw one of the cooks eating from a pizza that he then served. A couple of pizzas were burned and send out. We eventually waited for 30 minutes. 3 people asked us if they could help, the first one checked and said the order wasn’t ready. The second checked and then told us they didn’t started yet. The third person didn’t even came back… seems a lack of management in the restaurant. Pizza funghi was great though.

Edit: I received an email that we would be reimbursed for our terrible experience. Came back today and the food was delicious, service was much much better and the atmosphere in...
