Le Patron — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Jesus Christ... where do I start. 3 guys at the bar made fun of us the moment we walked in. They mocked our accents, while we ordered drinks I thought that stopped being cool in highschool, but I guess not?! Anyway, I ignored it. They continued to do the same thing basically each time we ordered. I don't even have much to say about the guys, they definitely have their issues, but about the woman bartender that was clearly loving the whole situation. In fact, she told us we can't tell them off. Men making fun of women. What a time to be alive. I hope they all get the help they need. What a weird place in Amsterdam. Cafe Le Patron was my favourite pub in Amsterdam. Vibrant on Thursdays with locals having work drinks. Casual on Sundays with everyone winding down. Beautiful sunsets next to the canal, highly recommend for anyone wanting a casual drink on their travels, the staff are the nicest I came across on my travels through Europe.

Will be returning on every future visit...
