Worst place I have ever visited. As part of a group of 9, we walked in quietly and respectfully. 4 of our group stood at the bar to order pints while the rest of us seated ourselves at the back (only 1 table had customers so it was very empty), before we even had a chance to look at the menu to decide on what drinks we wanted, the older female waitress stormed up to our table and aggressively demanded we order something immediately as we were not allowed to sit and not order anything (bearing in mind half of our group had just sat down with their drinks at our table) one of the group said he'd like to order a pint and she told him if we are ordering separately then he needs to go to the bar to do so. After about 30 seconds since her last visit to our table she sent her waiter colleague to demand we order something, at this point we tell him we were going to order but decided to leave because we did not like their customer service, so were waiting for our friends to finish their drinks and we would leave. They poured the drinks into plastic cups and we moved outside where we stood for 5 minutes for them to finish their drinks, where the staff proceeded to switch off their heaters near to where we stood because we were there, and then came out and told us to go elsewhere. We caused no problem, from the moment we walked in they were rude, our friends told us even as they were at the bar ordering their drinks the woman was being aggressive and rude, and one of the guys got given a beer that was already sitting on the side rather than freshly pulled. Absolutely would recommend people to actively avoid this place, especially tourists as I have a feeling they are very anti-tourist. From reading other reviews it is quite common for the...
Read moreThe bar/ restaurant is definitely a must have for any young human who visits Amsterdam. The flair is pretty alternative, kindoff rocky and quaintly. My friends and me were searching for a not too expensive but not too classy place to eat, and we simply entered this lovely place. The menu cart is filled with simple dishes, transferred into a new taste experience. I had the burger, whichâs taste was absolutely stunning. One of my friend had the salad with warm goat cheese- I tell you, this thing was heaven on earth. Nevertheless the waiting time for the food was quite long, but we just enjoyed the flair instead. I would definitely recommend this place, and Iâm excited about the next visit in this restaurant.

Lokaal ât Loosje is a true gem in Amsterdam â cozy, relaxed, and full of character. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether youâre stopping in for a quick drink or settling in for a longer hangout.
They have a great selection of local beers, and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. Service was quick without being rushed, and the whole place has that perfect balance of laid-back and lively.
Located right on Nieuwmarkt, itâs a fantastic spot to sit by the window or terrace and people-watch. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a drink in a local,...
