Luuk's Coffee Vijzelgracht — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Luuk’s Coffee at Vijzelgracht is a real gem. The staff were incredibly kind and polite, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I had some of the best pastries of my entire trip to Amsterdam here – everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

Their coffee, hot chocolate, and chai were also excellent – rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. I can warmly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

That said, the seating inside is quite limited, with only a few spots upstairs, and it can get quite warm indoors. Because of that, I’d suggest grabbing your drinks and pastries to go and enjoying them elsewhere nearby.

All in all, a cozy little spot with top-notch quality...

Coffee and matcha at this place I find almost the best in a city . But this morning I had worse experience ever in Amsterdam . Barista was coping my words and moves in ugly and arrogant way. Not sure what have been so funny. When I have asked him - if he is making fun of me - he has answered- “natuurlijk” and laugh without looking back at me and have asked back in English where am I from ? Great coffee next to the Amsterdam’s Vijzelgracht metro stop. Perfect for a coffee stop on-route to Amsterdam Nord. The coffee was lush with coffee sweetness, thanks to the Barista’s great milk pour. For those who don’t like too much coffee acidity, the decaf was very balanced in flavors.
