Mewsim Restaurant (previously meram)- Amsterdam Osdorp — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Was really bad in all aspects, we called the restaurant few hours before, he said no need to reservation, in worst case, you will wait 5 mins, but when we come, we had to wait for more than 20min, and no one show up form the staff, then one guy showed up and said that we have to wait for extra 15-20 min because there's no tables available, when we explained the reservation story, he magically found a table, then we had to wait for another 20to30 min to order, the staff was avoiding us always, they were putting their face down when come by, was insanely wired, then when we had the chance to order, after few minutes the waiter came back and told us that what we order is not available, then we order the 3persons grill, it was REALLY BAD, they mad it really quickly so it was not done from the inside and burned from the outside, and with all mentioned above, it was very good expensive for what we get, was really bad experience, I will...

Very poor service, we had reserved a place four people at 8pm, when we were seated we were told that we could remain until 10pm, our mains arrived while we were eating out soup, which meant that I ended up eating my main meal cold, we were served and miraculously had our dinner within half an hour, which is a record, very quick service, then we asked for tea and coffee, which arrived 15mins later, just when we were about to order our desserts, when my coffee wasn't even finished, around 9pm we were told that we needed to leave as they only had a capacity for 30, when we complained that we were told we could stay until 10pm the server left and another server took her place and apologized and offered us not a complimentary but a 'free' dessert, which we declined. Meram in Rotterdam has such friendly staff, and the service is much better, Meram in Osdorp is not...

Absolutely in love with Meram at Ganzenhoef, I expected the same friendliness and high standards from the lovely location at Sloterplas. Unfortunately, it seems that the staff don't know the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover." Dressed up casually on Whit Monday at lunchtime, we were ignored by the staff. I went on trying to make eye contact with the waiting staff, observing whether customers who arrived after us, would get their menu cards faster, and indeed, that did happen. Sadly, my partner needed to talk to the staff for us to get the menus. Honestly, we decided to look for another venue, so I can't say anything about the food quality. I might go there for a cuppa because of a lovely location, but as for eating, if I fancy Meram, I'll eat at Ganzenhoef....
