The clean windows caught our eyes when we walked past Pazzi on our first day in Amsterdam. Our server, Karlijn, with the biggest smile welcomed us We ordered mixed salad, sausage pizza and bruschetta. Coming from California where we have fresh vegetables growing year round and being a most picky eater, we found ourselves devouring the freshest salad (arugula, olives, artichokes, mushrooms, and many more ingredients). Having traveled the world and eaten many salads, I can tell you it is the best mixed salad, that is, if you are served the same one we had! Food: The pizza was excellent. Good dough, cheese and sauces. We tried their chocolate cannoli which was really bad. I usually eat everything and this was just inedible. Service: The service was not good. We were seated and waited for attention or even menus. We had to ask for menus. We weren't checked on if we're ready to order, or if we're good. We didn't even have salt, pepper and olive oil like other tables did. There's no menu in english. We just didn't feel welcome. So , another shop in Amsterdam that serves the locals first! We were seated in between two groups of dutch (im pretty sure) people and the one on the right was seated and had ordered after us , same for the group on our left and guess what!
