Miss Korea BBQ — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Really nice concept, fast service and generally good food. There is abig variety of dishes, some of them is "ready to eat" dishes and some "raw" dishes you grill yourself on the grill at the center of the table. Vegeterian dishes are also available. I just loved the green tea ice cream! There are a few rules you have to take into account so there will be no surprises- Each person is obliged to order atleast one drink. No tap water is available. In order to prevent food waste- each dish that was not finished is charged for extra of 3 euros. Leftovers cannot be packed. For some dishes you are charged extra 2 euros. The ordering is done through a tablet, which is really nice and easy. The food gets to your table really quick. Each person can order 3 dishes at a time. We were 2 so we could order 6 at a time. Between each order there is a waiting time of 10 minutes and the tablet tells you how much time is left till the next order. The waiting time is between orders, not the serving of the dishes, so even if you get your last dish after 7 minutes, you can order new dishes 3 minutes later- so 10 minutes after you ordered for the first time. Also, it doesn't matter how much items you order. So even if we ordered 1 item, we couldn't order the other 5 before 10 minutes went by. A few advices- it's better to make a reservation in advance. We arrived on Saturday evening and had to wait 40 minutes for a table. If you come hungry, like we did, order a few "ready" dishes first because for the barbique it takes around 10-12 minutes more so you'll just sit the hungry, waiting for your next ordering oportunity. Some of the dishes that appear as "spicy" on the menu, some are mild and some are really spice, so maybe you should try and ask before you order. The 4 stars is only because of the price- 29.9 euros not including a drink is a little bit too much in my opinion for the offered variaty and the various rules. 24.9 would have been a more approoriate price...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Korean restaurant in the Pijp, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and impeccable service.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with beautiful decor that added to the overall experience. The menu was extensive, and every dish that I tried was absolutely delicious! The Korean fried chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the bibimbap was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure that my dining experience was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, which made my meal even more enjoyable.

No matter where I go I always seem to crave KBBQ so I decided to give Miss Korea BBQ a shot. I came here after a day at the zoo with my husband and what they had to offer and they satisfied our cravings.

When you are seated you have 2 1/2 hours to eat from their hot and cold menu. Prices depend on what day and time you go. They have everything from sides, to basic sushi, stir frys, bbq meats, fried dishes, soups, and ice creams. You get a paper to write your order on which they’ll come around to collect through your meal. Make sure to only order what you can eat though because there will be a charge for any food wasted. Everything we ordered turned out to be amazing even though we didn’t stay the full allowed time since we were full.

Overall my experience at Miss Korea was good and the food was delicious. My only negatives would be that the servers could be a bit more attentive and that they have more meat options rather than more sides. After all it is a BBQ so they should focus more on the meat.
