NEW Review: I have to correct my old review. The 2+1 Tartuforo pizza was a new pizza that still needs some improvements. I have been going to the restaurant itself last week and the pizzas served there were definitely according to high quality standards. The service was very nice as well. The waiter was very kind and helpful and full blood Italian.

We appreciated the feedback of the restaurant and how they handled the negative feedback. You see that they prepare their pizza's with love and that they are in the process of improving their service.

Minor points would be the limited pizza choice list and the fact that they have only 1 beer type (a small Peroni Azzurro bottle of 25 cl for 4 euros is not something to go wild about. Having a Dutch alternative like het Ijwit would go a long way).

OLD Review: I usually don't put reviews on Google but this one was disappointing. We took the new Tartufo pizza with a 1+1 deal but the dough was dry, the taste was just strange and there was no tartufo on it, just mushrooms and a very weird sauce.

I am not quick to complain but the quality of the pizza was just really unsatisfying especially by comparing on how it looks on pictures + price. It was also not Napolitean at all but I couldn't care less if the pizza was good but no. Service was...

We were a party of 4 people on a Friday night and were able to spontaneously get a table here.

Unfortunately, the pizza was undercooked (all 4 of us agreed on that) and the taste was a bit bland. For an average price of 16 € per pizza I honestly expected a bit more, also after reading all the positive reviews here.

Service was attentive and ambience is nice.

Update 1: I reached out to Pizza Beppe on 16th of October 2022 after their response to my review. Never heard back from them as of today (11th of November 2022).

Update 2: We have gotten an answer and have been invited to try their pizza again and it was indeed a bit better but still slightly undercooked in my humble opinion. We took the leftovers home and reheated them the next day in the oven. They actually became better and were much tastier! Finally the dough was crispy! I have adjusted my review from 2 to 3 stars. First of all sorry, second of all thank you.

Came in here with a load of Italians and made an absolute nightmare for the staff, we were loud, drunk and hungry as hell yet the staff here handled us with class.

There were only two servers on the floor to get our drinks and food which consisted of 4 bottles of wine, a couple beers, and a pizza for 14 people and it all came out on time.

There was maybe 1 person that had to wait slightly longer, and one of the pizza orders was slightly wrong, so you know, I’ll take those odds any day.

The only thing I could fault them for was that we weren’t allowed to split the bill, which for academics, made for quite the headache!
