From the moment I stepped into this exceptional establishment, I was greeted with the warmth and charm that Amsterdam is renowned for. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal retreat for both locals and travelers alike. The staff here are unparalleled in their service. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, they went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their recommendations, from the menu selections to the perfect wine pairings, were spot-on, adding a personal touch that made our visit truly memorable. Speaking of the menu, it is a culinary masterpiece. Each dish we savored was a testament to the chef’s prowess and attention to detail. The ingredients were fresh, locally sourced, and combined in ways that delighted the senses. Whether it was the exquisite presentation, the explosion of flavors, or the innovative combinations, every bite was a celebration of fine dining. The location itself could not be more perfect. Nestled in the heart of Amsterdam, it offers a serene escape from the bustling city life while still being conveniently accessible. The view, ambiance, and setting blend seamlessly, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and exhilarating. To cap it all, the commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of this establishment. From the meticulously crafted interiors to the impeccable service and extraordinary culinary offerings, this place sets a gold standard for dining and hospitality in Amsterdam. In summary, my visit was an unforgettable journey of culinary excellence and exceptional service. It’s a gem that stands out in Amsterdam’s vibrant dining scene, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. A must-visit for anyone seeking an unparalleled dining experience in the city!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. First1️⃣, the place was completely packed, and it was clear that the management was focused on maximizing the number of customers rather than comfort. The tables were crammed so close together that there was barely any space to move, and we were practically sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers. 2️⃣Secondly, the tables were incredibly unstable and uneven on the floor. Throughout our meal, cutlery and bottles fell—some even smashed—at least three times, both from our table and others around us. A waitress mentioned she would bring table stabilizers, but she was so busy that she forgot. 3️⃣Lastly, while the overall experience was far from enjoyable, what made it worse was that after we paid, the waitress immediately asked us to leave a positive review on Google. This felt uncomfortable, especially for a 25 euro/ person brunch place, and given that the service was below average👎🏼. So here I am, leaving an honest review. I hope the restaurant takes feedback seriously and improves in the future.😌

I was excited to go try this place but it was so disappointing that I can’t give more than 2 stars. Main issues are: slow and bad service, crammed seating and mediocre food. Maybe they were understaffed but they seemed completely overwhelmed. It took a while for us to be seated even though we had a reservation. We didn’t get a menu for another 20 minutes after being seated and it ultimately took 1.5 hours from when we had the reservation to when we received our food and we had to flag down a waiter every time we needed something. The waiters were very nice and friendly but unfortunately that can’t make up for the long waiting time. Another advice I’d give the restaurant is to reduce the number of seats they offer (especially when they’re understaffed). It really felt like being in a box of sardines. It really hurts the atmosphere if you’re sitting back on back with the person behind you. To eat, I had the steak arepa but didn’t really enjoy the combination with the apples and corn. And it was quite greasy. Maybe the other dishes are better.

Absolutely disgraceful service. We had a confirmed reservation for four people. One of us was running late, so we arrived as three. Instead of accommodating us with the table we had reserved, the staff refused to seat us, claiming that we no longer “qualified” because we were only three. We had to wait 20 mins under the rain at the end they were trying to stick us at a tiny, rain-soaked table that clearly wasn’t suitable for 3 people and guess what after 20-25 mins of that table being empty they gave it to 3 people (they were just waiting to see if they can earn more money by 4) (Thank you for your response, but I’d like to clarify a few key points. We reserved for four, arrived as three, and were told we couldn’t be seated yet 20 mins after, a different party of three was seated at the same table we were waiting for. That directly contradicts your explanation about party size and availability. The “suitable table” you mentioned was outdoors and soaking wet clearly not a reasonable option, especially during bad weather. I didnt claim we ordered anything in fact we went to another restaurant, so that point is irrelevant. We waited in the rain for over 20 minutes before leaving, and I have a timestamped reservation from another restaurant to back that up. Calling our experience “false” rather than acknowledging it was mishandled is disappointing. Reviews are meant to reflect real experiences and mine was both uncomfortable and...

We had a reservation and, when we arrived, we were seated at a table for four. We sat down, but one of the chairs on the inner side of the table was uneven due to the floor level, so we chose to sit on the side facing the corridor.

Just as we were about to place our order, a staff member came over and told us that we had to move over. We politely explained that the chair on the other side was tilted and uncomfortable, but we were told there was “nothing to do” and we still needed to move.

Excuse me? If the table is suitable for seating, we were already seated we didn’t choose it randomly, we were directed there by your staff. If a new party arrives, shouldn’t they be seated at a different table rather than moving us, or at least they could ask kindly not a words like you have to and rude attitude.

When we asked to be moved to another table instead, we were told we could sit at the table behind us but again we had to sit on the inner side with the uneven chair, which was raised about 4–5 cm on one leg.

If the table and chairs are not level, why are they placed there at all? Instead of asking the newly arrived guests to sit elsewhere, we were removed from our table which felt very rude and disrespectful. The staff member was quite blunt and rude! Very unprofessional service and...
