I heard one of the must-try foods in Amsterdam was a döner kebab, and I found this place at the recommendation of my airbnb host. This place is very local and family-run, and the service behind the counter came with all smiles. If I recall it was cash only, and I had just run out of euros (I had just enough for one of the kebabs on the menu. Unfortunately there was some English communication issues and they made me a slightly more expensive one. After I tried to clear up the problem for about half a minute, they gladly just let me have it for the lower price. Read moreIt was the worst kebab and service I ever had in my life. The owner (i supposed it was) was so unpleasant, rude and not helpful at all. I got almost nothing in my "kebab" (if i can call it like that ahah). 3 pièces of salads, one tomato and almost nothing as meat. The kebab did not even stand upright, it was completly floppy. And icing on the cake : they had Only 3 or 4 sauces to their clients. Obviously, I let you Wonder that I was sick the day after. And I paid 7€ for that !!
