Kinaree is a restaurant that you should avoid it. Myself and my partner we wasted a sunday evening there, we received bad food and bad service. They are just amateurs. The restaurant is a complete disaster, in our opinion. We made a reservation and we travel from Amersfoort to Amsterdam to their "thai" restaurant. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty (was after 17.30). We told to the staff what we want to eat each, from the menu kaart. The waiting was very long, after almost 1 hour we get the first dish (a soup) . Firstly, I ordered tofu soup and I received a poor chicken soup. Because I waited so much and because I wanted to be polite, I accepted to eat and to accept the apologies of the staff. The second dish again happened to don't be delivered in time and again was served wrong/incompletly. The food taste also very bad and had any appearance From that moment we agreed that this Kinnaree restaurant is not a place to be and that we could not enjoy good thai food.. I refused to eat and I complain to the staff, only excuses in exchange and "that will be better next time"... They wasted our time and our sunday evening dinner. [Nothing from the restaurant tell you something about Thailand or thai food,...
Read moreAfter having various forms of burgers and fries, my wife and I wanted moderately healthy ethnic food. After doing a quick Yelp search, we came across Kinnaree Thai Cuisine. With appetites and no reservation, we made the short walk to the restaurant.
Upon arriving, we were greeted by an employee who instructed us that we could select our own seating (the restaurant was fairly empty at the time). We placed orders for the following: Two glasses of wine, spring rolls, Pad Prik Ging (my wife), and the Pad Bai Kraprao (myself). Roughly 15 minutes later our food arrived looking real delicious (we would later discover that it lived up to its appearance). My wife and I were so pleased with our meals that we were intentionally eating slow as not to finish it too quickly (I’m guilty of quickly devouring delicious food). By the way, the two chili peppers spice rating is pretty accurate…make sure that you have a glass of water nearby.
I highly recommend Kinnaree...
Read moreOrdered through UberEATS. Received chicken instead of fish in sweet and sour sauce. I don't eat meat. Called them and I had to solve it myself and place another order and demand cash back from first order. Then I receive the 2nd order. As a mea culpa, they've added a Coke. Nice gesture, but I don't drink Coke. This time it's fish, so I'm happy. I've been looking forward to this. Unfortunately the fish tasted like ammonia. Never a good sign. But I was very hungry and decided to eat the rice and vegetables or better said vegetable (bell pepper). I must've gotten the last rice that had been sitting around for hours, coz the rice was full of "crunchy" bits. And not the good crunchy, the "you shouldn't eat this" kinda crunchy. If I get sick, I know why. I obviously won't be ordering or visiting...
