This place has gone downhill completely! We usually are expecting the unlimited chips & salsa at our table, but now they are $6.50 and not unlimited! The salsa tasted like gross store bought salsa from a low brand. They used to have an amazing cheese queso dip you could add to the chips and salsa on the side which apparently they no longer have on their menu! What a shame! That queso cheese dip was to die for!!! The waiter never even put plates on our table and never offered us water (there were not even water glasses on the table). We heard the people beside us ask for water and so we asked also. We usually come here because the wind from sitting up higher is a nice atmosphere and we loved to munch on the chips, salsa and queso cheese, and then enjoy a nice brick chicken dinner, which this time, tasted like an over dry breast flattened which I almost choked on. Plus it’s supposed be be deboned but my husband’s had bones. The rice was dry and there were barely any beans (all bean liquid) gross. Now, this nice place turned into a reduced menu and it is just not worth coming to now. The margaritas used to be in a huge glass and now comes in a tiny cup! I miss the queso cheese- please consider bringing it back and making the menu GREAT again! This place was literally the worst this year. Was this place sold and revamped because it’s just not like it was years before. So sad. PS- for a taco-type Mexican place I recommend putting a lot of napkins on the table like you used to! One napkin...
Read moreBad service, bad food, bad drinks. Do not go here! We were told it would be a 15 minute wait and we could sit at the bar. We sat at the bar, there were 2 bartenders for the restaurant, we sat there for about 10-15 minutes and the bartenders who gave us a menu never came to take our drink order before our table was ready. We were seated and waited another 10-15 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. We ordered frozen margaritas, waited another 10-15 minutes and got margaritas on the rocks. They were terrible, very sweet, and we couldn't taste any tequila. My husband sent it back and ordered a beer. And still no chips and salsa after being seated for 30 minutes. The salsa was a bit watery and tomatey, not spicy at all. We ordered steak fajitas and a 3 soft corn taco plate (fish, steal, carnitas). Steak was very tough, carnitas were very dry...and they served them on hard corn taco shells that were broken/torn all the way across the bottom with the sauce spilling out. We saw about 6-7 servers for about with a couple of them walking around aimlessly, and looming confused or like they had nothing to do, which suprised us because it had taken so long to even get acknowledged after being seated. Food flavor was forgettable. Dont waste...
Read moreFor such an awesome location, you'd think the food would be decent at least. This was the worst Mexican food Ive ever had. Taco bell would have been a better option. We had fajitas, chips and sals and margaritas. I don't know how you can get salsa wrong but it was atrocious. It tasted like they used the juice from canned tomatoes, didn't add salt and threw a little blended old canned vegetables in. Yuck! The fajita meat was weird...for lack of better terms and we didn't get enough tortillas. I mean it wasn't bad tasting but definitely sub par.
The one thing they DID GET RIGHT was the margaritas. I was surprised how strong and tasty they were compared to the food. They were actually the strongest drinks we've had on our whole trip. Although I read the drinks on the reviews were not good. So it's a hit or miss I suppose.
The atmosphere is really cool. The food needs major improvement. Servers were basic. So unless you're just desperate or don't care or want to check out the ritas, I would avoid going here,...
