Wow. Sexy Shrimp Aruba absolutely blew us away. Hands down one of the BEST meals we’ve had — not just in Aruba, but anywhere!

From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The service was next-level: super friendly, fast-paced, and full of good vibes. The owners — a lovely husband and wife team — were so welcoming and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. And it shows.

We got free shots and even free t-shirts just for coming in! The energy of the staff, the atmosphere, and the overall experience made us feel like we were at a local gem made for tourists but still rooted in authentic Aruban charm. It’s Americanized just enough to feel familiar but still very much a unique island experience — you know you’re in Aruba.

Now the food… phenomenal. I got the burger — and wow — perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. My friends went all-in on the seafood and couldn’t stop raving. The shrimp with dynamite sauce was a hit, and the grouper might have been the standout of the night. Whether it’s beef, chicken, or seafood, these guys know how to do it right.

The setting was awesome — outdoor seating, great cocktails, cool crowd. Everything about this place screams good times and great eats.

We ate at Sexy Shrimp on April 4, 2025, for dinner. We were looking for something pretty laid back and found this hidden gem. Daniel was our server (the best!), and his recommendations were excellent. I had the fish tacos (fresh fried local grouper), which came with a few nachos and fresh salsa as a side. My date had honey cajun shrimp, which came with rice, plantains, and small veggie salad. The tacos were amazing! The shrimp dish was not my dish, but I did taste it, and I would definitely be going back to have that dish. My one recommendation for the shrimp dish would be to get extra sauce for the rice. I wouldn't change a single thing about the fish tacos.

The amount of food is quite plentiful and it is not overpriced. I had water, but my date had a homemade sweet lemonade, which was made by the bartender.

The atmosphere was great as it is situated in Paseo Herencia shopping mall, close to the stage, so if there is a show, you might get a chance to eat some great food and see...

During our trip to Aruba, we stumbled upon Sexy Shrimp, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots on the island. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a cool local vibe that makes you want to stay for hours.

We absolutely loved the mojitos—refreshing, perfectly balanced, and packed with fresh mint. The tacos were incredible too—full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of heat. Of course, the shrimp dishes were the highlight—especially their signature plate, which was juicy, buttery, and full of bold Caribbean flavor.

What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The owners were warm, friendly, and truly made us feel at home. It’s clear they put their heart into this place, and it shows in everything from the food to the service.

Whether you’re just getting off the beach or heading out for a fun night, Sexy Shrimp is the perfect stop. Amazing food, great drinks, and even better people.
