The server Julian or something like that was extremely rude not inviting did not smile did not say hello to us just placed the menus in front of us. We asked if they had pork souvlaki sandwiches he said no my husband this Greek we then said can I have a Gyro sandwich he said a Gyro is not a sandwich Being Greek we know exactly that a driver is a sandwich. He then handed A our food extremely rude just put it on the bar didn’t access if we needed anything. If everything was OK, we asked for the bill he charged us and then proceeded to tell us 20% tip. I objected and told him no I would like to give a six dollar tip. He then asked me where I was from. I would not recommend this place the rice is Indian basmati rice I asked for a pork souvlaki. I was given a chicken skewer. There is nothing Greek about this place but the pictures on the wall the owner needs to do better I understand you were in a place of tourism and no matter what you will have people come, but it was unacceptable what we were served and the service we were giving if I could give zero stars I would I was given one chicken skewer, a full plate of rice no pita bread no salad nothing and I got the pork souvlaki platter heads up stay...
Read moreWe decided to try this restaurant after checking the menu prices online, which appeared reasonable. However, our experience was less than satisfactory.
The actual menu differed significantly from what was posted online, both in items and pricing (refer to attached photos for current menu prices). A mandatory 20% gratuity was added to our bill, a policy only disclosed upon inquiry. The owner referred us to a chalkboard notice about this ‘festive season’ surcharge, but I believe gratuities should be discretionary, especially since we didn’t dine in. The food quality was just average, not the best Greek cuisine we’ve encountered. For fresh fish, Eduardo’s beach shack nearby is a preferable option. The serving sizes were quite small, more suitable for a child than an adult looking to savor a meal at the beach. The price does not reflect the quality. We found better value and higher quality meals at other nearby establishments.
Overall, I rate the experience 2 out of 5. For those seeking a fulfilling beach day complemented by good food, this place might not meet your...
Read moreI regret to say that my experience at Kouzina Aruba was highly disappointing. As a Greek, the tasteless and overpriced dishes, particularly the $15 USD pork gyro with an extra $3 charge for barely noticeable feta cheese, left much to be desired. The only saving grace was the nicely seasoned fries at $8. To be honest, I’d consider this the most tasteless gyro I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve eaten many. I don’t mean to be harsh, but as a Greek I’d be embarrassed to serve this or have people think this is what gyro meat tastes like. As an establishment you can do better for your customers!! I think the worst part of the experience was when we payed and the young man who took our order asked if we would like to add gratuity. My husband, who was caught off guard added 15%. I was flabbergasted they would even ask. What am I paying you for? To take my order, you give me my buzzer and I come back to the counter to pick it up??? Classless. Sadly, the bad taste from both the food and the experience ensures I wouldn’t ever be giving Kouzina Aruba a...
