My husband, child and I ate here last night. Despite not really into writing reviews, I felt it was needed considering the price, portion sizes and quality.
I will start with the Pros, then move onto the Cons
Pros: Nice Christmas set up inside Friendly staff
Cons: Portion size was small, even for someone who doesn't eat large portion sizes, and usually has my husband finish mine. Though not this time lol!
Didn't offer a children's menu, and upon asking said they could do a spaghetti for a child at child pricing. Which wasn't reduced, paid almost $30.00 usd for. The meatballs in my 4 years pasta were child sized, yet adult costs at $3.00 per meatball.
I requested zuccini and green peppers to add to my pasta, and was charged 3.00 per as well. Which would have no problem paying for extras had they actually put more then 4 slices of zuccini coins, and more than a couple of slivers of green peppers
I wouldn't consider this true Italian cuisine, as one of the items was a hot dog pizza that consisted hot dogs, chips, mayo and ketchup. We overlooked as the other food sounded great. We were wrong.
Price point was high for lack of portion size and to be honest the flavor was bland and tasted like just heavy cream and butter, no garlic or cheese or spices had to ask for some chili's to spruce it up.
Only one female server had a mask fully on her face, our server wore under his nose, the host didn't wear one, and the other server wore one under his chin. I'm sorry but we can't get back into canada if we get covid.
For our peace of mind, it would be appreciated to have servers wear the mask while at our table so close to us. (This is common problem we've noticed). This can greatly impact us traveling again if covid is still prevelant. Servers feel safe with us because we require testing prior to arrival, but what about our sense of security?
We paid 113.00 usd, equates to 150.00 Canadian for literally 1 coke, bruschetta that consisted of tomatoes in oil and a small spaghetti with 3 meatballs for our 4 year old, a gnocchi that was bland and also child sized, and ravioli that was also bland and child sized. Yet the pricing was extreme for what we received.
Aruba has many great restaurants, some pricier then others. Price point isn't the main factor, it's taste and portion size as well. If those others factors were on point, this review wouldn't be a poor review.
I personally felt taken by the restaurant. I felt like they laughed as they charged us what they charged, and gave so little. Shame on them for not even giving decent portion.
We are seasoned travelers, and don't mind paying for good quality food. I do mind paying for something and leaving feeling ripped off. We've been to Aruba 6 times, and we're married in Aruba, I've never been so disappointed.
Please step up and do better, your guests are people that choose Aruba to spend their hard earned money, give them the true Aruba experience, be fair with portion sizes at the very least. Especually when the island has many Italian restaurants to...

Ambiance and Pricing: At first glance, Pizza Napoli positions itself as an upscale dining venue, with prices surpassing even the most esteemed restaurants on the island. This sets a high expectation for a dining experience that should justify the cost.
Atmosphere: However, the ambiance is marred by excessively loud music, which pervades the already cramped dining space. This choice in volume can be overwhelming, detracting from the overall enjoyment and making conversation challenging. Furthermore, the use of plastic dining tables feels incongruous with the high price point, diminishing the sense of a premium dining experience.
Cuisine Quality: The quality of the food, unfortunately, does not rise to meet expectations. It can be best described as mediocre, lacking the depth and authenticity one might anticipate from a restaurant that prides itself on its Napoli roots.
Kitchen Efficiency: An evident lack of organization in the kitchen leads to extended wait times for food. This issue is particularly noticeable in the staggered service between different menu items. Guests who order pizza might find themselves served moderately promptly, whereas those who choose pasta dishes can expect delays of 20 to 30 minutes. This inconsistency hampers the dining experience, particularly for groups.
Food Quality: Certain dishes, notably the meatballs, bear an unfortunate resemblance to mass-produced, frozen supermarket products, further highlighting the gap between the restaurant's high prices and the quality of its offerings.
Overall Experience: Considering the variety of excellent dining options available on the island, Pizza Napoli faces significant challenges. The combination of high prices, mediocre food, a cramped and noisy environment, and the disconnect between its claimed Napoli authenticity and the actual dining experience, all contribute to a less-than-satisfactory visit. Significant improvements are needed for Pizza Napoli to compete effectively in such a vibrant...
Read moreReal Italian style pizza made in a authentic pizza oven. The restaurant is located on a well traveled street. If you are driving there is a parking lot behind the building. Price to park I believe is 2 Florins.
I first had the Calamari e gaberi fritti (Fried Squid Rings and Shrimp) ($16 US) as an appetizer. Portion size was fair considering the location. The flesh of the squid was forgiving, not chewy and the shrimp tasted fresh. Batter was very light, and not too flaky. Sauce was your standard marinara.
My friend and I had two pizzas to share. The first was the one of the large pizzas, "Coppa", ($35 US). This was very good, the fresh mozzarella was great, having plenty of tasty milkfat and cheese pull. The sauce was fresh, thin and somewhat tangy, tasted excellent. Main topping was the coppa ham, it was good as well cut just thick enough not to shrivel in the ovens heat.
The last pizza was an Oreo topped one ($20 US). I wasn't paying for this item, so my opinion may be a bit skewed. It had the right level of sweetness and had plenty of oreo and sweet cream flavours. If you like that sort of dessert, it was well done.
The crusts of both pizzas were built on was excellent, a bit thick, but having that distinctive cracker taste that traditional pizzas have. Not greasy at all.I can taste the the slight smokiness in the crust itself.
Overall a great pizza place to visit where you won't have any problems having a...
