Tony Roma's — Restaurant in Curaçao

Another extremely overrated foreign chain charging premium prices just for the name while serving subpar food and offering mediocre service. The many local spots that are trying their best and actually have way better food are more deserving of the money spent in this place and many other similar overrated places. Quality of food was nothing exceptional. The taste was lacking a balanced flavor, I would honestly say the ribs were good, pulled pork was decent, shrimp scampi was missing ingredients mentioned on the menu, and the shrimps are tiny! Drinks tasted fine, little too sweet for my taste (Cadillac Marg.) however well presented in a shaker and a glass on the side. Service was not good, but the gentleman who took care of us was trying his best. It looked like they needed at least 2 or 3 more staff. Overall, it's not a place that I would return to or even recommend to anyone, especially being on the island, I just don't understand why the standards, quality and value do not match what you are charging your customers for as a well established...

Food was good, service could be better. Half of the time the waiters were watching sports on the big tvs, instead of going around, asking if everything is ok and filling our glasses. Also, the strangest thing happened with the entrees. We ordered three entrees. My friend received hers first. When she finished it, i received mine. When I finished mine, my other friend received hers. And the one who received last also specifically asked the waiter if she could could get it rather quickly, for she had to leave early. Disappointed. Went to a Tony Roma's in Spain several years back, which was awesome. Great ribs, excellent food. This Tony Roma's.. not so great. Meat (ribs and steak) is (I think) cooked Sous Vide, and seared on a grill. This makes even low quality meat tender. I feel the quality of meat is sub par.
