Bij Best. Breakfast, Lunch & Coffee — Restaurant in Delft

This spot is central, has tasty food and drinks, is family friendly, and has a welcoming and spacious interior with many seating options. The people who work here are also super friendly and helpful, as well as patient with small kids. I've been here a few times with just my husband or a friend, and also a few times with more people and my toddler. It's always been a nice experience. Their menu has a lot of creative and delicious options, so you aren't stuck ordering the usual stuff you can get anywhere. That goes for drinks as well as food. I always love going to Kek for that reason, but I'd consider Bij Best a great alternative. And much less cramped/loud/packed.

They are also fine with modifications, if you are that kind of food person. We got the brie and bacon sandwich and wanted the brie melted — they did it (and I'd recommend having it that way actually). The pork belly sandwich was perfect, and the churros also fab. I'll definitely be going back.

Lovely place to have a weekend breakfast in Delft. My wife and I visited on Holy Saturday (19-04-2025) and although we did not have a reservation we were given a table (on high chairs, but we were happy with that). The menu is quite large, we chose to have (and share) the continental breakfast and the homemade banana bread. It was enough for each of us, but if you want to make sure you have that "full feeling" after breakfast then I recommend getting the continental breakfast for yourself only. Getting just the banana bread would not be enough to give you that "full feeling". The ambiance was pleasant and the staff were quick and efficient, although I would not necessarily say friendly. NL/ENG/GER Op het ponton in de gracht voor de winkel, dein je lekker mee op het ritme van de kabbelende golfjes. Prima kaart, vriendelijke prijzen, goede bediening. Veel buitenlandse gasten. Dat klopt helemaal bij het beeld en de beleving waar Best uit deelmaakt: Hartje Delft, aan de gracht, tussen de klokkentorens van de Oude Jan en de Nieuwe kerk. Een plaatje dat zo past in een schilderij van Jan Vermeer. Parkeren doe je in een parkeergarage, de straten in Delft zijn nog authentiek voor voetgangers, fietsers en paard met wagen. Rolkoffers svp dragen!! Alle straten in het centrum zijn gemaakt van bakstenen of kinderkopjes. Fietsen zijn te huur bij het treinstation en bij fietsverhuurbedrijven in de stad.
