De Beierd — Restaurant in Delft

Very old tables … sitting outside on the wooden couches it wasn't comfortable … the most annoying part was the waiters spamming you to buy more drinks or food every 10 minutes … the minute u finish your drink they come to ask if you want another one … another waiter comes to ask if you want to eat … what if i wanna take a bear and relax for 20 minutes without being harassed … Experience...

Had a delicious dinner here. We ordered the 'borrelplank De Beierd'. It was a really tasty platter with lots of flavors and vegetables. It was a big portion and super good. Closed off with a Irish coffee which was nice as well. Waiters are friendly and the place looks cosy. Would've loved a pillow on the hard chairs and couch though haha. Poorly grilled meat (asked for rare steak, and came well done!). Excuse was that rare is not possible because it would be cold in the middle. Shrimps were not cleaned properly and rib eye (19 Euros!) seemed hopelessly far from 220gr (as advertised). Other than that seems like a nice place to have a drink/coffee and gezellig(cozy)...
