Very good falafel! We were visiting iDelft and were looking for a light brunch. When searching for a relatively healthy option, we ended up looking for falafel. That’s when we found Pure falafel.
The first thing you notice is how aesthetic and clean the restaurant is. That’s always a good sign. The second thing we noticed is the original menu. Besides regular falafel there are a range of modern takes on the classic dish. You can find an Egyptian version, a Greek version, an Indian version, Mexican and even American. We went with the original.
The price is very reasonable, especially if you’re used to Amsterdam prices. The falafel comes in a wrap, is freshly baked and delicious. The owner is super friendly and has an interesting story to tell.

Read moreThis little restaurant has a cute take on falafel. You order it original or as a felafel with a twist from other national cuisines from Mexico, Italy, Egypt, etc. They come with different types of breads based on which cuisine you choose. For example the Italian one is on a Ciabatta.
The Egyptian one was wrapped in flatbread and included roughly chopped onions, olives, lettuce and tomatoes with runny tahini sauce.
