Cute little Indonesian restaurant in Delft. Not in the main market place in the old town. Aido (I'm sorry if I'm saying it wrong) is very pleasant to talk to. The place is quite affordable with a main (noodles or rice) with one side costing 5.5 euros and then every additional side is 2.5 euros. The spicy isn't spicy, it just has a pleasant taste, for the Indian palette. I tried the spicy fried rice which is good. Along with sweet and spicy tofu which is quite nice. And beans in coconut broth which drenches the rice and complements the taste. The peanut sauce tofu is okay as well. The prices are a steal, and with the many vegetarian options, it is a great find! The noodles have egg, would love recommend them to bring in a a non...

What a lovely find in Delft! It's simple - choose a rice/noodle, you get one free vegetarian topping. That's for 5.5€. Then every additional vegetable or meat topping is another 2.5€. You get a choice of regular or "spicy" rice/noodles. Spicy is flavorful to this Indian tongue, not really "hot" at all.

The rice was absolutely wonderful, noodles not so much (I want to believe it was an exception), and I had a peanut vegetable side and a jackfruit cauliflower side - both amazing. Highly recommend it!

An extra mention for the lovely, patient service! Our server/the manager (there was only one person we could see), Aido/Edo, was really nice in his description and was helpful through our order - thank...

Tried Idola, an Indonesian restaurant in Delft, conveniently situated in the city center, right in front of the canal, making for a charming location.

Sampled the Nasi Goreng, Fried Eggplant with Chili, and Daging Manis. While the overall experience was okay, the Daging Manis stood out as particularly good. As a native Indonesian, my palate might be accustomed to the authentic flavors from home, and it’s possible that the dishes here are slightly adapted to suit European tastes. Given that, the food was still enjoyable.

Overall, Idola is one of the choices for those looking to explore Indonesian...
