Went with a friend who was visiting. I was immediately impressed that they had gluten free pita available. The star of the evening was the absolutely delicious hachoua hummus (the one with the seven kinds of veggies on it). It was seasoned to perfection. The sweet potato fries with the vegan mayo were so heavenly that we had to order one more order to go, which heated up nicely in the oven the next day. We also enjoyed the regular hummus and the red cabbage they serve with it. My teen is a bit of a picky eater and did not like what they ordered, the shaorma. It came on a bed of hummus and my teen doesn't like hummus, so would have preferred that they were not served together in the same dish. I forgot to take photos because I was too busy eating and enjoying myself. It would be nice if two pitas came with each order of hummus, as the serving is generous and needs 2 pieces to scoop all of it up. They have a nice variety of drinks that do not have alcohol, which was nice since none of us were driving alcohol. Service was with a smile, attentive, and speedy. Will...

Hi, thanks for your response. Just because you care about your customers(or your reviews) I am increasing the rating :). My feedback: To be honest I didn't like the falafel that much, and I have had falafels all over NL. The falalel lacked salt & crunch (which I like, maybe it's just me), and it was a bit bland. The pita bread was nice though:). Yes, the service was quick, prompt. Great job with that :) Initially, when I walked in the reception was friendly and I came to the desk and ordered to save my time, but I was told a bit bluntly "we are not a fast food restaurant", (though I was willing to wait for the food and I didn't rush you or ask you to make it fast), that can make one feel unwelcome, so be careful about making assumptions. Also, the sitting area on the sides of the wall is not very comfortable to sit, so you might want to change (modify) it. I saw a lady seating alone on the chair facing the wall, so it's definitely not comfortable for others as well. Overall, the Vibe of the place is really nice, so good job...

I visited this restaurant expecting an authentic Lebanese dining experience, but unfortunately, it was far from it. While the concept might be Lebanese, the food quality and authenticity were severely lacking.

We ordered the “a bit of everything” platter for two, expecting a balanced mix of dishes. Instead, what we got was essentially all side dishes with no substantial meal. For 48 euros, the portion size and quality were highly disappointing. I have had much better food elsewhere for the same price.

Another odd issue is that they do not accept cash, which was inconvenient and unexpected for a restaurant. On top of that, my glass was dirty and had food particles in it, which raises concerns about hygiene standards.

The one positive aspect was the cosy and pleasant atmosphere, which is the only reason I am giving this place two stars instead of one. If you are looking for a proper dinner, I would not recommend it. However, it might be okay for a drink in a nice setting. Just do not come with high expectations...

Update: went again recently! Super happy with all the dishes, we tried the veggie chicken tajine which was amazing and both kinds of Aubergine dishes! I love this place. Also this time we also tried the sweets: both the baklava and the kunefe were super! Can’t wait to come back This was a recommendation and here’s why: the food was great. Coming from a country with same cuisine as the restaurant offers it can be hard to find flavours that actually match in The Netherlands. First of all, the baba ganoush was amazing 🤩 had it in my vegan burger and on my sweet potato fries. The Dolma (should state it’s dolma in red sauce) were also really tasty, they come with anise which I’m not personally a fan of but other than that really good. The cauliflower with tahini also great! Generally great atmosphere and lovely people. Highly recommend and will be back to try more dishes

New review: The owner of Hummus Delft reached out to me and sent me a gift card and I went there today. The food were amazing! Vegan kapsalon tasted so good, hummus with chickpea and vegan meat tasted delicious and perfect spicy level, and my mother in law enjoyed her cauliflower and sweet potato fries. Therefore I changed the review. Good job Hummus! Old review: Slow service. We ordered food for 4 people and it took 1 hour for our foods to arrive, while other people who came after us got their foods first. The foods are somewhat overrated too. Vegan kapsalon has more French fries rather than the vegan meat. Bowl of sweet potato fries is very small portion and looks as if they're leftover fries. Perhaps this place is only good for coffee or cake, but not really for meal.

A place where the side dishes are actually better than the hummus. The place is very nice location wise, the staff is super friendly and the food doesn’t take long at all to arrive, the portions are ok and it’s mostly hot. The hummus itself is not a big dish, quite small actually, and you only get one pita with it, which I saw (I think) the make in house, it’s not that good unfortunately (not fluffy or airy at all) and similar story is the hummus which is lacking flavors and is quite sweet. The good thing is that they all bring out a couple of sauces that help. The cauliflower is great, the sweet potatoes as well, I just wish they were a little more cooked. Over all a solid choice if you want to eat Hummus, and if you are vegan this place is very very accommodating
