Went with a friend who was visiting. I was immediately impressed that they had gluten free pita available. The star of the evening was the absolutely delicious hachoua hummus (the one with the seven kinds of veggies on it). It was seasoned to perfection. The sweet potato fries with the vegan mayo were so heavenly that we had to order one more order to go, which heated up nicely in the oven the next day. We also enjoyed the regular hummus and the red cabbage they serve with it. My teen is a bit of a picky eater and did not like what they ordered, the shaorma. It came on a bed of hummus and my teen doesn't like hummus, so would have preferred that they were not served together in the same dish. I forgot to take photos because I was too busy eating and enjoying myself. It would be nice if two pitas came with each order of hummus, as the serving is generous and needs 2 pieces to scoop all of it up. They have a nice variety of drinks that do not have alcohol, which was nice since none of us were driving alcohol. Service was with a smile, attentive, and speedy. Will...
Read moreHi, thanks for your response. Just because you care about your customers(or your reviews) I am increasing the rating :). My feedback: To be honest I didn't like the falafel that much, and I have had falafels all over NL. The falalel lacked salt & crunch (which I like, maybe it's just me), and it was a bit bland. The pita bread was nice though:). Yes, the service was quick, prompt. Great job with that :) Initially, when I walked in the reception was friendly and I came to the desk and ordered to save my time, but I was told a bit bluntly "we are not a fast food restaurant", (though I was willing to wait for the food and I didn't rush you or ask you to make it fast), that can make one feel unwelcome, so be careful about making assumptions. Also, the sitting area on the sides of the wall is not very comfortable to sit, so you might want to change (modify) it. I saw a lady seating alone on the chair facing the wall, so it's definitely not comfortable for others as well. Overall, the Vibe of the place is really nice, so good job...
Read moreI visited this restaurant expecting an authentic Lebanese dining experience, but unfortunately, it was far from it. While the concept might be Lebanese, the food quality and authenticity were severely lacking.
We ordered the “a bit of everything” platter for two, expecting a balanced mix of dishes. Instead, what we got was essentially all side dishes with no substantial meal. For 48 euros, the portion size and quality were highly disappointing. I have had much better food elsewhere for the same price.
Another odd issue is that they do not accept cash, which was inconvenient and unexpected for a restaurant. On top of that, my glass was dirty and had food particles in it, which raises concerns about hygiene standards.
The one positive aspect was the cosy and pleasant atmosphere, which is the only reason I am giving this place two stars instead of one. If you are looking for a proper dinner, I would not recommend it. However, it might be okay for a drink in a nice setting. Just do not come with high expectations...
