The Blue Heart Brew — Restaurant in Delft

I wish I lived local so I could come here everyday. I'm a chocolate lover, and this place is a heaven on earth for me. I visited Delft for the first time and love it. This Chocolate Company Cafe in Delft truly made my Delft visit feel complete.

Their cold choc drink is amazing. It's not overly sweet and it has some flvored chocolate blended in there, so it gives a little crunch into it.

The strawberry smoothie is so tasty and fresh they could name themselves Smoothie Company:) I did not expect their smoothie to be as good as their chocolate, but trust me it is so good.

I bought some choc spoons and fruity bombons as gifts for some friends. The fruity bombons look so pretty in beautiful boxes. They're made with real fruits, and not just from artificial fruit flavors like some other brands out there.

I'm jealous Delft locals would have an idea what to give to people for special occasions. Let's hope the owner will still carry these stuff during Christmas. I'm pretty sure they will have it.

The staff are nice and friendly. Maybe people here in the netherlands are nice in general I don't know but still they make the place so welcoming. I saw two ladies working and a couple other guys. They're all so nice and knowledgeble about their products.

Will definitely come back next time I visit the area again.

The manager was incredibly rude. Three of us came to this cafe and asked a staff member if it was okay if we ordered a tea/coffee and studied for a while in the cafe, and they said that was fine. One of us ordered something right away, and the others took 5-10 minutes to decide. Within this time, the manager came over and verbally attacked us, calling us rude and “American” (we are Canadian), for coming to the cafe and not ordering something right away. He said he was “really annoyed” with us and said we could stay for a maximum of 1 hour. We explained that we were just taking a few minutes to decide our order and he responded rudely. We ended up ordering more things, and after an hour, when we started to pack up to leave, he came back to our table and told us “don’t bother ever coming back here again”. It was incredibly rude and hurtful considering we were polite, quiet, and did nothing wrong. We were considerate of how busy the cafe was, and were willing to give up our table if it ever got busy (which it did not, it stayed empty). What a terrible experience— do not support the hostile manager of this business! Anywhere else in Delft is much more kind and...

We ordered a few of the chocolate shake drinks (forgot the name) here, but we wish we had gone somewhere else. It was a waste of time and money. The drinks tasted like flavored water with a bunch of hard flakes of chocolate floating around inside (almost like shavings of chocolate). There was barely any chocolate flavor at all. It was certainly not worth the price either. This place is listed as a location where you can get a 2 euro discount on a drink with a ticket for the Old and New Churches, but they don't even give you the full discount. After giving the cashier our order, we were told that they actually only give one euro off on their drinks and that we could read about it in the "Terms and Conditions" on their website. This was very deceptive and is no way to treat customers who they attract by putting their name on a paper ticket... Either way, full price for the drinks would have been fine if they were at least good, but...
