Came here with my family (5 of us in total). The setting was lovely, and the cake and drinks were good. However, the customer service was terrible and very off-putting. We all ordered cakes, and everyone else ordered hot drinks. I only wanted some water, and the lady working was so rude about it, saying it was unacceptable that I choose to have water and that they have to make money somehow/that they don’t get paid enough for me to just order water. I understand it’s rude if someone goes in and just orders tap water and nothing else, but for 5 portions of cake and 4 hot drinks, I thought this would be fine. It made things really uncomfortable, and she was very sarcastic when she brought the water over to me. It also seemed odd that all of the tables were reserved and empty, and they didn’t really want us to sit anywhere, which also made us uncomfortable. The whole time we were sat there, no one came to the reserved tables. This would make sense if it was towards the end of the day, but this took place at 2:30pm, which is peak time for a slice of cake and a drink. It gave me the impression that they didn’t want to have any customers, which is ironic given she said that they ‘have to make money somehow’. We probably should have left and chosen somewhere else. Overall, a great concept, but very basic customer service training is required for one waitress in...

This atmospheric bakery and coffee bar is just the right place to sit and relax while enjoying the smells of all the foods being prepared.

We had a Latte and a mint tea with a 'roomboter' almond biscuit filled with spice.

The latte was very Dutch. A strong pick-you- up with a hint of bitterness. There was little foam on top and the spoon test was difficult to apply with the size of the cup. The Mint tea was very refreshing with lovely organic mint leaves. The buiscuit smelled lovely of almonds. It was a hefty and filling treat. We recognised that it was not one of those mass produced biscuits. Instead, it was very flavourful and clearly hand made.

An excellent place to stop and fill up for a day of...

Wow so guess no one ever heard of customer service? Ordered water to go, and was enticed by a few cakes so I ordered them, mentioned that I wanted those here but I guess the lady didn’t hear me. When I went to sit down and eat both ladies working there started to yell at me saying I can’t eat there because I asked to go. I said it was a misunderstanding and asked to stay. They said I can’t. I asked why, he they said because it’s more. I said I could pay the difference and they insisted I must leave. All the time I was as courteous as a client could be while being treated like I stole something. Wow. Nearly made me cry. Never go here please!!!! This is not a good...

Not a very nice experience. The service was pretty bad, we had to wait a long time for our tea and when we got it, it was already cold. The food was good, we ordered the sandwiches with Oude Kaas and Tonijnsalade, only they forgot to add the dressing to the Oude Kaas, so I had to ask for that. We had to leave our coats on because it was a bit cold inside the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend.
