't Gat van Nederland — Restaurant in Edam-Volendam

We entered and asked to eat something. We got placed at a table and received our drinks. What followed was us trying to order food for the next 25 minutes and the waiters kept ignoring us. Three times they nodded an acknowledgement and once we heard they would come to us, but nothing happened and we were just left alone. I would understand if the place was crowded, but it wasn't even half full and one of the waiters was just relaxing and waiting at the bar. We just payed our drinks at the bar and decided to left at that moment without ordering food.

Furthermore there was no corona safe spot, all tables and seats were way to close to each other and leaving almost no...

Even though the restaurant was not busy at the moment we waited for our food for over an hour. When I asked the waitress when our food would be delivered she said that mussels take a lot of time to cook (!) and when I asked for the rest to be delivered so we had something to it she became annoyed and replied that this is not possible. In the meantime other tables that arrived later than us got served, mussels included. It’s ok to make mistakes, but at least don’t be rude and have an attitude on top of that.

Our bitterballen were 40 minutes late. We came up to the desk and they said they forgot about it and took it off of the bill, but the bitterballen will be complimentary. But then they charged us for it. The manager didn't want to talk. They absolutely don't care about...
