10Tables — Restaurant in Eindhoven

We noticed this new restaurant and curious to try their chef’s 2 course menu on a Saturday lunch. 30 euro per person. Overall an interesting experience.

Food 🍜：Menu includes an amuse dish, a bread plate, a starter and a main dish. All in beautiful presentation. The amuse dish tastes interesting, a mix flavour that tastes complex which made us wondering what ingredients are included, often the most fun part of food tasting. Bread is hot and fresh. Starter is also very interesting, a delicate balance of different ingredients. Main dish is duck, which is least interested as the taste is plain, in both such and the veg side dish. Beside the proportion of duck is tiny, perhaps less than 80g. We were hoping to have a bit more protein in lunch.

Service：A lady introduced the food to us. She did her job but could be warmer.

Atmosphere：very nice set up. We were sitting on a table next to window, which was surrounding by artificial green plants forming a private space

10 tables! Bijzonder concept? Interessant, uitdagend. Nieuwsgierig! De chefkok is erg enthousiast over zijn gerechten en dit snap ik ook want er zit heel veel smaak, verschillende smaaksoorten in elk gerecht wat je goed proeft. Hij verteld hoe de gerechten tot stand zijn gekomen.

Wij hadden een full experience menu - €150 waar je met prosecco start en zo een 7 gangen diner krijgt met bijpassende wijnen en twee menu's. De wijnen worden uitgelegd maar als je dan vraagt naar de reden waarom er voor deze wijn is gekozen, word dit verteld dat dit in samenhang met een groep word besloten dus verdere kennis en uitleg is er dan ook niet.

Er word netjes gevraagd of alles lekker is maar hier word dan verder ook niet op gereageerd.

Het open keuken idee is leuk waar je dan als personeel rekening zou moeten houden met het feit dat er klanten in een kleine ruimte tegenover je zitten.

Wij hadden bijvoorbeeld extra een oester besteld waar wij later zagen dat deze oester over de datum was, wij hebben dit gemeld en verteld dat het niet handig is om een product met de houdbaarheidsdatum richting klant te zetten. Hier is het personeel ook niet verder op ingegaan en heeft dit niet meer met ons besproken.

Not worthy at all for what you pay. We were very excited to try it out after seeing the good reviews but we were very disappointed! You expect you are going to have a special gourmet type of experience and only the bill is at that level.
