We went there for breakfast with friends the first time. My husband had the Eggs Benedict. The egg was too raw for him, even the egg white runny. So this weekend we went again and thought we would give it another chance. He specifically asked the waitress for the egg to be medium cooked and for the egg not to be runny. We are aware that eggs Benedict usually comes with a runny egg, and that's also how I like it, but he doesn't so he was specifically requesting it to be more cooked. Eggs came out, again very raw (even for me) with even the egg white runny. He then asked the waitress to replace the meal because he did ask for the egg to not be runny. Second time round again one egg completely runny. I think what upset us most is the service was just so terrible. She could see we had a complaint and we had to wait till my and my son's meal were already finished before she came to check in. Not once did the waitress come check to see if the eggs were now better after the second round. Even when we left, she didn't ask him how the meal was. I’ve given Ted’s multiple chances, but this was the third time I’ve tried to have breakfast here, only to be turned away with the same excuse—that they were “fully booked.” The frustrating part? The place was completely empty each time.

It’s clear that they prioritize larger groups over solo diners, which might make financial sense for them, but it’s incredibly disappointing and unwelcoming. Hospitality should be about inclusivity, and this kind of dishonest and dismissive behavior has no place, especially in Europe, where customer service should reflect a welcoming and fair approach.

The staff’s attitude felt rude and deceitful, making no effort to offer a reasonable explanation or alternative. It’s beyond frustrating to be blatantly lied to when all I wanted was a simple meal.
