Xu Noodle Bar Eindhoven — Restaurant in Eindhoven

On a sunny day, as I was sitting by the high chairs and eating my delicious spicy noodles. All I could think of was, why are all these people passing by Xu Noodle Bar and not even stopping? Did they not see the photos of the different noodles outside?

A large menu that was posted outside of the restaurant caught my attention. They had me at Classic Pork soup and the Spicy soup.

I longed for the day that there would be a Noodle place as good as Takumi... And now here it is, born and raised in Eindhoven.

I love you Xu Noodle Bar, thank you for coming into our lives!!

The place is small but cozy. It felt like those small ramen restaurants in Japan. Although the space is limited, there was plenty of light inside. It didn't feel suffocating.

The staff are just down to business. That's fine. The food is one the best noodles ever so I will keep coming back.

They use wooden chopsticks and wooden straws, I applaud for their good eco values!

When you go in, you will notice that most of the customers are Asians - which is not surprising in Eindhoven, but for me this is a good sign that an Asian Noodle place attracts fellow Asians. :)

Have been here several times over the past year and have never been disappointed with various bowls of noodle soup/ramen. The broth is pretty delicious; not too salty but very flavourful, as is the chashu. My most highly recommended bowl is the kimchi one! Noodles are a bit hard to slurp, tangled. If they could improve that it would be the step to 5 stars for me. But hm, canned corn? Not to my taste. But you can leave that off the order, so no problem. Also the service is always congenial and very fast. Still, highly recommended and probably the best in Eindhoven for noodle soup/ramen (sorry Takumi).

Excellent Asian food with a nice familiar ambience that's perfect for a quick bowl of noodles. I pass this place every day and it's always crowded which says a lot about their quality/price ratio. Competent and fast service at a great price point. I had a Sichuan Soup which was really fresh tasting (could have done with a bit stronger mala but that's personal) and Jasmin tea. They don't serve alcohol but who needs that with such delicious tea? Authentic tableware adds to the experience. Highly...

Atmosphere is very cozy, the wait staff is really friendly. I was going to over order, however the waitress warned me of the portion size. I ended up not finishing my noodle bowl, it tasted great but didn’t feel like over stuffing myself.

I ordered one of their hot teas, it is served in a unique way, it has two cups one inside the other. When you pick up the first cup, the tea is filtered out ….. pretty cool.

I ordered the chicken curry, for those who like their food spicy, don’t be fooled by the “chilly” symbol next to it. It is not spicy at all, nonetheless flavorful. No need to add any spice.

Overall good service, tasty food and a good cozy atmosphere sums up Cu Noodle Bar….....
