This restaurant serves nice food. However, the service doesn’t make it worth it. We made a reservation for Sunday brunch a month ahead. We were welcomed very vaguely by the staff who just opened the restaurant. Nothing about the brunch was explained to us especially how long it takes for the food to arrive. I would expect that when making a reservation especially for the brunch (which they have for a short time slot every week) they would be more prepared, and not let us wait a full hour for the food. I hope that the management can do something about the stuff so that they pay more attention about the customers service, since it’s not one of the cheapest places and you would expect a nice dining experience. The server ignored me when I called, probably assuming that I would complain about the long wait time. Actually I wanted to order something else. I found that very unprofessional. Also, that might be a personal preference, but the ambient inside is very headache inducing. The brunch concept is all you can eat and the amount of food you get initially is more than enough, so ordering a la carte might be more worth it. I appreciated that in the end we got to take the rest of the food. That’s nice for the food waste problem. I hope they can improve all things mentioned above, because it’s important for a place in the Centre...
Read moreInteriors of the restaurant is exceptionally good but there is some smell which wasn't pleasing.I loved the crockery I must say. Khana bhi acha hota to maza aa jata.
So We started with sabki fav mango lassi but the curd wasn't fresh hence we didn't appreciate it. We ordered 3 starters out ot which tandoori chicken was stale. In that Aloo tikki chat chole wasn't freshly cooked.. And the chilly chicken has more peppers and the chicken wasn't in the appropriate quantity.
From the main course we ordered chicken malaiwala which was good but the nan could've been better in size. They give some rice along with the dish.. But i don't understand the logic of giving 2 spoonful of rice. Either give it which suffice atleast a person or don't give it at all..
At last the chicken biryani... Presentation was good but i guess here indian restaurants has started the competition that who could put more garam masala in the biryani. In the process to make biryani more flavorful and fragrant they put more jayfal and javintri and as a result the taste gets worsten... One can make the biryani less masaledar and simple and it can still taste better.
Finally there was a fruit fly which was continuously around the food....
Conclusion is there was only naan which was freshly cooked. Most dishes was...
Read moreWe were delighted to finally have an authentic North Indian restaurant in Eindhoven with a good ambience. The first experience on entering the place was very positive. We were immediately taken to our table and the menu was presented. The service went downhill from thereon. It was very clear that they have a shortage of staff. The managers were running around servicing the tables. The service staff was pretty inexperienced. It took us about 20 minutes to get someone to take our order and another 35 minutes to get our food. However the disappointment with the service was made up by the delicious food. Chicken tikka masala and paneer lababdar both had silky smooth curries. Unlike other Indian restaurants, they do not add sugar to the makhni gravies. Lacha paratha, stuffed Kulcha and garlic Naan were all top notch. Chicken biryani was passable. It was flavorsome with good quantity of chicken. But nothing to be wowed about. At the end of the meal, the manager came and apologized for the slow service. They are genuinely committed to improving that and i would give them that leeway since they have just started their operations. A great addition to the restaurant landscape in Eindhoven. The right place to take my Dutch colleagues whenever they crave for some good...
