Pros - cozy, lively atmosphere and stylish decor make it a great place to spend an evening—other aspects of the experience fell short. Cons - Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. Although the all-you-can-eat concept offers a wide variety, many of the dishes didn't live up to expectations, lacking the flavor and quality I had hoped for. The real frustration, however, was with the service. The system of ordering two dishes per person per round was constantly bogged down by significant delays. Getting a server's attention to place our next order was a struggle. They often walked right by our table without a glance, and we found ourselves having to wave them down repeatedly. This made what should have been a relaxed, continuous dining experience feel like a constant battle, disrupting the flow of the meal and ultimately leaving us disappointed. While the setting is fantastic, the combination of underwhelming food and poor, inattentive service made for a frustrating evening. I hope they can address these issues to better match the great vibe of the restaurant.

Went here to celebrate my grandmothers 90th birthday. Staff did a great job making it special for her, and therefor for all us. Food was great, lots to choose from. Was there with a big group (10+) and we all had the Bourgondisch genieten' arrangement. Which meant we ordered dishes in rounds, with 2 selections of dishes per rounds. Available options are tailored to serve a wide audience, meaning there are some more 'exotic' menu options but also common Dutch recipes (sometimes with a twist though!). Vegetarian options are plenty and marked on the menu card clearly to spot. With this arrangement be prepared to sit and eat for a long time. Our group went through 6-7 rounds and were there for over 3 hours.

As tourist my lady and me wanted one good chocolate cake. We enter nice bar restaurant looking well ok. Imagine i travels worldwide and allways get a chocolate cake even if im alone. In this bar waitress told me I need to order 3 cakes only. Not possible only 1. What a crap owner menu. We are waiting 30 min to order a drink...can imagine food. No thanks. Shamefull for Groningen town to have such a practice. Not raccomending at all. P.s. spoon on table without paper napkins??? Basic higiene. What you will mix sugar in tea or eat cake with this spoon?

After an hour we got 1 round of food that was barely warm, noone explained the concept when we sat down, we had to ask 2 waitresses, the 1st forgot to come back. (I now read on here the rounds were 3 dishes but we were told 2).

Menu is written in a really wierd font and with the dark lighting, it was difficult to read.

We had to complain the 2nd round didnt arrive after hour 2. (Advice; to have the full 5 rounds must take 5 hours, so book dinner early!)

The waitress dropped her tray of food (for the table next to us) and 2 of us ended up with food hitting our faces and clothes.

We did get apologies for this and free drinks, which was kind of them, we did appreciate that, so thank you.

Eventually the 2nd round of food came but again barely warm (the duck was cold and rubbery).

At this point we were so hungry we just ate. We then gave up at that point, left and went to Burger King.

Its a beautiful place!!! but we wont be...
